Man Utd, Chelsea, and the rest. Highly contingent on the next transfer window, though. Both teams need significant investment to keep ahead of everybody else. Chelsea's squad is very old and ManU have been a one-man team for a big stretch of the season.

I tipped Liverpool for the title in the summer. There, I said it. (In my discharge, that was before they had the shocking transfer window they had and I switched to Chelsea before a ball was kicked in anger!)

Benny Benitez: Parky 6 Benny 2 (Benitez watch.). Inter sack the waiter.
Village Idiot replied to Parky's topic in Football
That was last summer... It all depends on what happens now re the owners. If new owners come in by the summer, he might stay. If not, he's off. Personally, I hope he stays. Why do you think he's still the man to take you to success? Completely honest question. Admittedly can't think of many managerial alternatives to him. -
Just saw Totti's kick. Shameful stuff.

Mmmm... it's a pretty common word to use in Spain regarding football when a new manager/board comes into a club and shakes things up. I'll abstain from uttering the words "Ashley's project" just in case

Nonetheless, they almost captured 4th spot with a squad that doesn't really have world-class players (Tévez maybe) and with switching manager mid-season. Their project has gained credibility, and even if they won't attract the Kakás, Torres or Messis they can go and get themselves some very notable players this summer. With Liverpool being a mess with a poor squad, I can't really see ManCity failing to get fourth spot next season. Honestly, as long as that sheik doesn't get bored they'll get there.

Is he the same daft prick with the Kaka and Robinhio tats? Different guy. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/england/manchester/8487297.stm

Meanwhile Cronaldo puts Madrid up 1-2 He's really carrying them these past games.

Wonder what that guy with the "2011 Champions League Winners" tatoo will do now. EDIT: Ah, here he is http://m.gmgrd.co.uk/res/140.$plit/C_71_article_1132137_image_list_image_list_item_0_image.jpg?17%2F08%2F2009%2011%3A47%3A27%3A861

A lot of teams outplay Madrid, they just have such firepower that it doesn't matter (their firepower is one of the reasons they get outplayed, too, massively unbalanced squad). Much preferred Spurs than City for the 4th spot, I approve of that result Transfer window won't be as fun as if City had CL football, but I guess they'll get it next season. Their project is far more credible now.

Cronaldo equalises.

Madrid concede their costumary first goal. Mallorca 1-0. Let's see if it sticks, for once...

Tennis score, that. 4-6 now.

Depor down 3-1 against Osasuna. That's 11 games since their last league win

Well, he has more of a name given he's in the Argentine squad so he would sell for more. Won't comment on some of the values people are suggesting there... José Enrique the most expensive LB in the world... But this is about what price we would sell for rather than what we think others would pay, I would have thought their values to us would be closer, Routledge possibly even edging it. I don't see that much difference. You'd get better offers from Jonás, particularly in a World Cup year, so not holding out for more would be stupid irregardless of how both players contribute to your squad. It's not about what offers we would get, it's about what we would be willing to let them go for so should surely be based on how we rate/how important we think they are to the them rather than any outside factor like how big a name they are etc... Let's put it this way. If Ashley sold Routledge for the same price as Jonás, it would be stupid. One has to look at all the aspects, not only footballing ones. It's the same reason younger players are valued higher than older ones, even if they have the same ability.

FIFA has always been very supportive of artificial grass as a way to get pitches made in poor countries/grassroots level.

Come on, that's not a nazi salute. He's just dancing and making a fool of himself. Tabloids Eidur is still class, if arsed. Not sure he is, though.
-
And looks like Silva's got new shooting boots, we really should sign him but I'm afraid he's Real's boy.
-
I personally think he's a great forward but Emery just doesn't like him for some reason. Rumor is that if Villa leaves they are buying Soldado.
-
They have pretty much clinched 3rd place and are playing for nothing. Better to put Zigic in the shopping window.
-
Piatti just scored for Almería. He's even smaller than Messi and also fucking class.

:fwap: 31 goals. 3 away from Ronaldo's club record with two games remaining!
