Is that really your new away shirt? The watermark looks boss.

Said it before. They might be fantastic, but they are dirty and incredibly sore losers. We have a quite classless board, sadly. Pretty sure the order came out of them.

He's an arrogant bastard and he's probably going to piss me off with all the jeering he's going to come up with after defeating us, but still can't stop loving the man, he's so entertaining (not football-wise!) And Ferguson is the better manager overall, in my opinion. Of course, he's had the longest career so we'll see what Mou manages at the end of the day. Ferguson also has the advantage that Aberdeen and ManU weren't the top dogs in their leagues when he took over them.

Was the same in the first leg. How the hell did this happen? Was Valdes running around in Circles when Barca had the ball? He plays as a sweeper of sorts when we have the ball. Keepers run more than people might think, too, pull some other games statistics if you can.

Have to say that Busquests one is fucking brilliant

Agggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhh... Ok, I'll pretend I take this sportingly and quietly cry on my bed
-
Ok, I'm off to watch this with some mates... I hope you neutrals enjoy the game

Or we might go 3-4-3

That's a common Spanish expression, which means "to give it all". I have been nervous the whole fucking morning at work, and while my boss usually ignores me, today he's chosen to hold a couple impromptu meetings. I'm trying to not get myself too hopeful, so the disappointment isn't so big. But still... Aggggggggggghhhhhhhhh All the media, shirts, etc... thing is something that this board has tried to bring to the table in the past few years. Comes off a bit forced to me but well, guess younger generations/gloryhunters buy into it (and buy the shirts too).

Just caught a clip of a Spanish TV interviewing Barça fans in the streets, and they showed one disguised as Ronaldinho...

I will take over the uninformed patronising from other clubs' fans.

Just read that Rangers have been granted a guaranteed spot in the group phase after Bayern won. If Lyon had went to win the whole thing they would have got one instead, who now goes to the winner of the SPL.

I had completely forgotten that Campbell played for Notts County this season. From League 2 to CL football. heh.

Mancini has played Bridge every game he's been available, even when he was straight off injury. Surprising he'd get rid. Ireland could be a great player but lacks tactic discipline and workrate. I think he would flourish under the adequate manager though.

Hehe, I'm in New York so I'm far from the hype, but for the little I hear people are pumped. Everyone is telling us off, so we'll at least "die killing" like we say in Spain.

That's what I was wondering aswell. However it's not the worst thing about that quote. It is when you have watched him go down like a sack of spuds/getting sent off for dirty tackles four seasons straight.

Love how he talks like he's never been part of this team he's criticizing

Man, Inter is going to have a field day with this rabble if we don't do something about it.
-
Everton are a big club and if they went down it would be a big item in the international footie pages of our sports rags in the same way Newcastle going down was. Teams like Blackburn, West Ham, etc... would barely register.

Talk about a rollecoaster season at Notts County.

Out of interest what is the lowest Barca have ever finished in their history? 11th in 1942, we actually played the relegation playoff then since the league was only made up by 12 teams. But that was right after the Civil War, with most of the team and board forced into exile (some even executed), a chairman appointed by Franco, etc... However since that season we have never finished lower than sixth (this also makes us the only team that has always qualified for a UEFA competition in the entire continent)

When Atlético got relegated in the late 90s it was massive, they were only one of four Spanish clubs to have spent all their existence in the top flight (the others being Madrid, Barça and Athletic). Of course, the stick they got from all types of media and fans was legendary (since they still had Jesús Gil as owner, who was in jail at the time, and one of the most ridiculed figures in Spain).

Schalke confirmed they have reached an agreement with Metzelder to sign on a free at the end of the season.
