  1. I work from home anyway. And I never work the full 8 hours, just don't tell my boss
  2. Nobody forces you to take the full hour, but you have to arrange it with your boss to then go home early. And there's a lot of peer pressure to not be the first to go home. That's actually a quite bad part of our working culture.
  3. wat Starting work early sucks, but finishing work late sucks more. (work sucks in general, but hey...)
  4. If we moved back to GMT, we'd have: 9-13: Work 13-14: Lunch 14-18: Work Which starts being reasonable.
  5. They get two hours off in the afternoon, I believe. Used to be, but most workplaces have done away with that and you just get one hour for lunch. Our typical work schedule: 10-14: Work 14-15: Lunch 15-19: Work
  6. They get two hours off in the afternoon, I believe. Just delaying the end of your work day. I'd hate that. Get it all over and done with. The earlier you start in the morning the better. That's where the wrong timezone comes into play. We have a late sunrise compared to other countries, so our workday starts later, and everything cascades down from there.
  7. That's because we should actually be a GMT country, not a GMT+1 one. Our schedules are f***ed up because of that. Incidentally it's Franco's fault because he moved our timezone to match Germany's. Fascists...
  8. Tellies control kick off times, so they are "optimized" to maximize viewership, matchgoing fans be damned.
  9. Wasn't it at 19:30? 18:30 local time. Everybody's at work.
  10. Incidentally, scheduling a midweek league game at 18:30 is to piss at the mouth of Sporting fans. But the CL (and the tellies) reign supreme.
  11. Halilovic doesn't want to go back to Barça, it seems
  12. Four rotations for us too. Mostly the entire backline. We'll see.
  13. Inside the bathroom of a random bar in Barcelona http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160217/63f583151e321ffb2c243534446a3c34.jpg http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160217/7988ee7fe092ace431d48ace703b04b3.jpghttp://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160217/fe9763b84b7c04e5c76934d523645e72.jpg
  14. Why? I just hate looking at the table and it not being the real table, because some teams have games in hand so you might be 3 points above rel but not really, because WBA have a game in hand against City who are still in the cup, and shit like that. It doesn't need to be midweek actually, you can put PL games in there instead and play the cup on the weekend. Just don't mix the two the same day.
  15. I'll say it; I hate games in hand, so I'll welcome the FA Cup becoming a midweek competition. Games in hand are a greater evil.
  16. Dunno... I see the cup de-evolving into a borefest where the smaller side tries to battle out a draw in order to play for the pens. Current system motivates smaller sides to come out of the blocks aggressively and try to ambush an overconfident/weakened big side. We've got loads of entertaining games over the years, thanks to this.
  17. Man, Kula Shaker were awesome.
  18. That's probably some of the best football I have seen in my life. And I'm a Barça fan. Feel a bit bad about the Cruyff pen though. It was douchebaggy.
  19. Having Alcácer back is a big lift for them.
  20. I'm suddenly reminded about that Welsh Town banner.
