  1. Does dampen the joy slightly knowing that he'll get his Champions league football (a couple of appearances off the bench for a season).
  2. I'd just rather we kept our best players, tbh. If Mike Ashley pocketing £30m gets you hard, fair play. So would we all. But he doesn't want to be here. A player leaving, who doesn't want to be here, is great. Shame it's dragged on to this hour. Exactly, reject £30m and we lose value over the course of the season and still have a wantaway cunt on the books when we go up. Wanting us to spend £70m+ on players willing to come to the Championship in order to 'ensure' promotion is bordering on insanity as well.
  3. Ashley pumping ultimate transfer cunt Levy raw.
  4. I'd just rather we kept our best players, tbh. If Mike Ashley pocketing £30m gets you hard, fair play. His overall performance and contribution last season was shite, he vehemently doesn't want to be here, and he's taken a massive strop over not being able to leave which would instantly transfer to the dressing room and onto the pitch. I can't see why anyone would be unhappy about this transfer other than to be pointlessly contrary. Nail. Heed.

  6. Every manager in the game speaks in 50% bullshit to the media. Obviously the Pardews of this world up the ante but everything needs to be taken with a pinch of salt.
  7. That's a pretty daunting attacking force, full of pace and power if not finesse. Think they'll be a force this season. Looks good on paper but bar Lukaku it's a collection of the most inconsistent players in the English game. Koeman will do very well to have them performing week-in week-out. Why bar Lukaku? He was absolutely dire for the last three months of the season. Fair point.

  9. Even his outstanding performance in the final was basically just more 'all fart no shit'. He could go on to have a fantastic season for Everton tbh but will still never get over this. £30m ffs.
  10. He's clueless. Alan McAnally on SSN as well, you can tell they've paid no interest to Newcastle over the course of the last two years.
  11. That's awful. Robert did that in 6 months. In a much better team, with a much better supporting cast. Mainly because he was 10 times the player though.
  12. It show's how useless stats can be if 50% of a player's supposed output was in one game. Created way mitre chances than anyone else last season too, although obviously they don't count. Have never understood how that stat is produced. Still, as he should, he was a Champions League player and our main attacking source. He was still utterly gash.

  14. Paully you spent years defending a CB who could do everything but defend, to be fair. At least Sissoko got plenty of assists. This is a happy place, don't bring back the Colo fights pls.
  15. Wish his brain was able to function in such a way that he is capable of feeling immense embarrassment after the way he's went on this summer. Tried in the Euros, pimped himself out every other minute and finds himself no further forward than he was last summer. All he'll care about is the £80k a week or whatever he's getting like.
  16. Ours is Michael '30 goals in 4 seasons' Owen, to be fair. Sunderland's is some regen cunt with shite hair.
  17. Fairly confident Rafa will be looking for Premier League quality players when we go up, don't be afraid.
  18. Nice must be hoping they can resurrect another troubled player's career in Balotelli. Not sure this one is going to be as successful.
  19. Pleased he's gone Alan Jr. Said it numerous times, should have been forced through earlier. Only messin'.
  20. Ashley must be delighted The Ashley topless pic is needed again.
  21. You expected us to invest more than what we received for Wini/Townsend/Sissoko in the Championship? Expect? Nah. But why shouldn't we invest at least as much as we've brought in? Because we'd be buying for buying's sake. We've already done enough business. You don't think we could strengthen the team more than we have? Or perhaps have paid a little more and purchased people who aren't Daryl Murphy? The Murphy one fair enough aye, but unlike previous windows it genuinely feels like we've pretty much maxed out. Plenty in the pot if we need to panic in January anarl.

  24. It's far more ridiculous than the Carroll sale. Just beautiful.
