  1. Apparently he is also both RATTLED & FEWMING.
  2. Guardiola probably wants s proper defence anarl. Let down badly. It's hardly the Man City boards fault that he spunked £50m on John Stones and £16m on a goalkeeper with no hands like. Similarly a say Reading fan would look at us and consider us hysterical dweebs for claiming Rafa 'hasn't been backed'. So am I to take it from that that you think Rafa has been adequately backed, then? For the purposes of the Championship, I think so, yes. We had this frenzy when we flogged Sissoko at the end of the last window from the same posters tbf.

  5. It's not too much of a concern when we're still left with the best team in the division . Sure Rafa will realise this too. If it happens again in the Summer, then aye.
  6. And he will get us up. Comfortably It would take either disastrous management or horrific luck with injuries to fail to get automatic promotion, given our position and the strength of our team. In Rafa we trust.
  7. You're Alan Barnes. A nice young lass has raised £300k and you've fucked off to the Shetlands. Do you give her a decent reward when you can get away with a tenner? Do you fuck.
  8. Well yeah, we need another creative outlet. Not just for when he's injured but at home where he's often fairly successfully negated. He's never negated like, we're always worse without Shelvey. Of course we are and I didn't suggest anything to the contrary. At home he's been significantly stifled in 2 games that I've seen leading to defeat this season and it would be good to have another outlet. Ritchie, Diame, Atsu & Perez all have it in them to be such an outlet. Some produce less frequently than others, but we're far from being a complete one man team.
  9. The problem with those analogies is that we ain't broke.
  10. Satisfied probably isn't the word but personally haven't seen an overwhelming need to strengthen. If a PL player was there for a decent price then fair enough. That's the only reason Townsend is a bit of a disappointment, ready made PL player. Maybe you haven't but the manager certainly has as he has said all month Aye, but as has been said before, every manager worth his salt wants to improve his team and will pressure the board to do so. Doesn't necessarily mean he automatically gets what he wants, every time.

  12. Even at our lowest. Those dark, painful days without Shelvey. 2 wins out of 4 in the league. If Gayle & Shelvey both break their femurs, not sure even signing Townsend would keep us in the top 2.
  13. Nah, thankfully internet hysteria is largely kept away from SJP Aye, the wongaloids like yourself will watch the match in near silence as per usual. Gerrin. Fwiw I'm in the corner, rarely in silence. Enjoy your night crying on here though

  15. There is still the possibility, should we win the league, that they are proven 100% correct on this occasion.
  16. We've got the same team that has us 3 clear with 2 in hand you melt
  17. He thought it was happening at lunch I'm told Certainly won't be owa the moon it hasn't gone through. He'll see the bigger picture though, hopefully.
  18. This is the side of the fence I'm falling on at the minute like. Understand the opposing view like, although there has been the odd bit of mental hyperbole.
  19. Has he flounced before? He left Valencia but was at Liverpool within days.
  20. If there's a better offer elsewhere he'll be off, but that's always been the case regardless of this window. Think it would have to be a properly shit summer window for him to do one without something lined up. As you say, it's plausible. Not that I agree this one has been 'abysmal'.
  21. Flew off on the back of Moe Szyslak.
