  1. I know it would, that doesn't change my point about the overall situation. Brighton would love another Knockhaert. Brighton didn't sell their best players bringing a £32m profit in the last window, either. Or spend £80-90m the 12 months before that, or take a massive hit to their expected income. (sure we've done this one ) Not to mention the fact that our wage bill was probably double theirs at the start of the season.
  2. They all had better careers than Taylor. Judging them on their Newcastle form is closer and it's hard to separate them, though a little unfair on old man Cacapa. Aye but who cares about what happens away from NUFC. See nowhere near enough of Lyon, Auxerre, Rangers, Atletico Miniero et al to make any sort of informed opinion.
  3. Taylor at his best (which granted wasn't a particularly high level) was streets ahead of Boumsong & Cacapa ffs. Mbiwa was a non-entity who will only be remembered for a couple of mares. He's an utter heedthaball but I've no doubt his heart was always in the right place when it came to NUFC. Made a tit out himself with the fistpumping etc, but doesn't deserve to fall victim to the 'aaah hate lurcal players' brigade.
  4. Really? I'd agree but we've had the likes of Titus, Boumsong, Cacapa, Willo and Mbiwa in the last 10 years. There's been a lot of awful back there. All better players than him, though. Sometimes do wonder whether you've ever actually watched us.
  5. Henning Berg, Dwight Yorke and David May as pundits. Job's a good 'un. TWO PREMIER LEAGUE CHAMPIONS
  6. No all prem tie in the 5th round. Impressive.
  7. Negotiations innit. Bit of a joke if we're basically for his wages while he was there as well as giving them a refund, not that I care.
  8. Brighton & Leeds haven't done owt either tbf. Reading have brought a couple of shit players in. Not sure it's true that most clubs would take a different approach.
  9. Don't think he's been 'screwed over' at all like. Like every manager across the 92 he'll want additional strength, but we find ourselves in the position of wanting PL players to come to a Championship side. If he gets nee budget in the summer, then he's been screwed over #wait
  10. FA actively want to destroy every club outside the top 6 darlings. Unsurprising.
  11. You only needed to look at the state of his face to know it wasn't going to end well really.
  12. He played the 90 mins and got an assist. Considering he fetched us close to £30m profit in transfer fees as well I still struggle to understand your hatred of him. Just imagine we could fetch even a tenth of that for your man ginger Jack. Bloke couldn't give a fuck about the club, played a vital role in our relegation, but looks good on the balance sheet. Hero. Don't want to get into it all again, but will never stop laughing at Spurs fans dawning realisation. Soz.
  13. Yeah the very reason he is still here is the amount of affection shown to him
  14. 'An almost entirely anonymous display' Sounds decent by his standards.
  15. Lincoln v Sutton next round. Guarantee Non-League repping the QFs.
  16. At least half the last 16 are going to be non-prem.
  17. Castro misses a one on one to make it 2.
  18. Didn't realise goal-line technology hadn't made it to Spain. Ructions. Fairly amusing seeing Barca cheated out of something though.
  19. Barca losing. Title is Madrid's if they don't turn this round.
