This. Always take great delight in beating those horrible cunts.

We win like that last season and everyone is ecstatic, tactical masterclass etc. I'll never take to Bruce but that's a great result.

Customers are usually required to pay.

They're already all sold out/given away.

Making a return to SJP this season after all. -
Is it too early to be looking at hotels for Wembo?

Absolutely hopeless bastards. In 2009/10 we had a home replay at this stage and there was 15,000 there. Ten years of utter pisstaking and apparently we're twice as appealing. Bar the Pardew freak season I reckon amongst matchgoers Ashley is as popular as he’s ever been tbh. True.

I honestly expected 12/15k tonight. Can't believe there's 30k people out there prepared to pay money to watch Newcastle play Rochdale in a cup replay on a January midweek night.

30k there tonight. Staggering.

Other than through competitions from official club sponsors I don't think they're allowed to give tickets away for FA Cup games due to the gate receipts being split 3 ways between both clubs and the FA.

"Sold out" signs up for Saturday I see. That's 3 home games in a row now.

Pointless really. The only form of protest is to not go. I very much doubt he cares what his customers are wearing as long as the seats are all filled for the TV cameras. The free tickets fiasco has proven beyond any doubt that empty seats really do rattle him.

Comfortable defeat. Bruce will blame injuries and tiredness. We're settling into a pattern now. -
Genuine question - do you think that his prospects are better at Sunderland than at Newcastle? Thinking about coaching, facilities etc. I have no real knowledge of Sunderland's youth programme, but I know yours has been a bit sketchy over the last few years. Dunno, last experienced NUFC’s system personally over a decade ago, know lots of young coaches there, parents with kids and know they are also interested in my son. Wor lass’ friends/cousins has a few kids in there too and one who I won’t name will be a top player and we have very good coaches at under 11 down. I’ve heard very bad things about them though sadly. For now, I’m just treating it as another form of training for him like his Futsal, but if he likes it and they like him I’m gonna push him because this is all his own doing seriously, since watching the WC in 2018, I don’t push him at all, I’m just his taxi and cash machine for strips etc. And thanks man Think I’m more excited tbh! There's just no way you can tell at a young age whether someone will be a top player or not. So many incredibly talented young lads don't even make it as professionals in League One / Two for a whole host of reasons. Pleased for you and your son though, hope he enjoys himself Thanks and you’re quite right, but I’ve seen enough at this level to know who is going to make it and who isn’t or rather who has the better chance as clinical as that sounds, this kid will be a top player I’m sure. I hope so anyway as he’s a great kid and so are his family. He’s from Africa but has already pledged himself to England. It’s scary at these age groups though, so much talent in the NE but so much pressure and I’m now of the opinion that a lot of it is actually down to the players themselves the most. There's lads get to 18 and they're still at NUFC, or wherever, and still don't make it. Some of them don't even manage a part time career in the Northern League. A World beater at 10/11 can be hopeless by 14/15. I've seen it happen loads of times. Well done to your son btw. My nephew has been at sunlun for quite a while now, and signed forms for them just before Xmas, and he loves it. He's been told he's got to stop playing for his Sunday team from the end of this season though which I think is wrong (he's 8).

We had 40,000 season ticket holders in 17/18 which was the highest since the SBR days and as many as they could, or were prepared to sell (my brother and nephew tried to buy season tickets just before the season started and were placed on a waiting list). They lost around 5,000 ST holders last season when most of those not on the 10 year deal were hit with a 20% price rise. They lost a further 5,000 this season when Rafa walked away and they also inexplicably increased prices by a further 5%. Basically their haemorrhaging supporters at an alarming level not seen at any other PL club and will see another huge drop next season when many of the 10 year deals expire.
-
Maybe not but it was set up due to the way Mike Ashley was running the football club and they always plug themselves more when things get really bad, ie last summer when Rafa left.
-
Which in turn harms any future genuine efforts of others in the future. Exactly. Anything else no matter how genuine, or by whom, will be met with so much scepticism that it'll never get off the ground. Certainly, at this stage, I'd say the NUST has done more harm than good.

The new look Trust has turned out to be nothing more than an ego boosting old pals act, as many suspected. They made loads of noise when wanting to take money off folk, many on lifetime memberships, got all the money in and have gone very quiet now, in fact silent. All the usual suspects got in during the elections the other month and we've heard nothing since. Shame Heron didn't get in. That's who I voted for. We may well have had a bit more transparency then because all the old pals have taken their places, closed ranks and basically shut up shop. Thankfully, because of my misgivings I took out a 1 year membership instead of the lifetime one they were plugging g so hard. No chance that's getting renewed.

Most of it is for attention tbh.
-
Is his son at the Sunderland Acadeny like because he's never fucking mentioned it???
-
Man Utd capacity was 32k when they got 29k v Crystal Palace. They also posted a crowd of 19k at Old Trafford that season but that was for a UEFA Cup game. Liverpool's capacity never dropped anywhere near as low as 22k either, even during the Kop redevelopment.
-
I see he's hiked up the ticket prices for the rest of the season. Leicester at home on NYD prices are £41 behind the goals, £52 in the East Stand and £68 in the Milburn with booking fees on top. That's a few quid more than the games we've already played this season against the Likes of Arsenal, Man Utd and Man City. Edited. Everton now sold out
