They've turned into a proper banter club these past few years like. I predicted the made up stories of Cardiff fans being leathered after the match as we get the same eveey time they lose at home. It's their comfort blanket the absolute weirdos. They've got Tony Mowbray managing them, a group of unknowns playing for them and a partly closed down stadium to play in. I couldn't fully laugh at all this when we had Mike Ashley and Steve Bruce. I can now

Defeat today can only mean one thing. We'll get a thread within an hour detailing how Cardiff fans took an absolute shoeing from the Sunderland youth after the match.
-
And at Blackburn the other week, and at Bristol City, and Swansea.
-
They haven't even sold out every away end this season and that's in the 2nd tier so I very much doubt that.

Real life is real life though. Your friends, your family, your mates, the bloke in the pub, that's real. You know exactly who you're talking to. Social media you don't really have a clue. You've got Sunderland fans pretending to be Newcastle fans (and vice versa) and people are basically just hiding behind a username.
-
I'd disagree with that tbh. Social media, whether that's Twitter, Facebook, forums or whatever tend to have a high proportion of weirdos! A perfect example is RTG. I can guarantee that your average Sunderland fan isn't like that Real life is real life however. You go in any pub before the match next Wednesday or next Saturday and I guarantee you'd struggle to find anyone unhappy with our owners. As I say I'm yet to have a real life conversation with anyone who isn't happy with our ownership model.

I rate Pope far higher tbh. Just looks all round a far more assured keeper. Dubravka was good, but I was never convinced with him when crosses were getting put into our box. In saying that I'm surprised he's had no game time whatsoever at Man Utd, not even in the Europa League.

It was an absolutely mind numbing and draining season. Every game seemed to end 0-0!
-
Agree there's no chance of them going down. Too much dross in that league this season. I've took them on my midweek coupon tonight as they're playing Huddersfield who are the worst of the worst.

Buy him then loaning him out to one of their relegation rivals would be pretty amusing.

He's suspiciously quick off the mark to share things that account put on twitter with his mates on RTG and I know he's absolutely consumed by our takeover and campaigning against it basically taken over his life. Stranger things have happened.
-
I'm pretty certain he's behind that NUFC fans against sportswashing account on twitter like. As soon as they post something he immediately puts it onto the RTG site.
-
Seems a bit extreme like. On average they've got 10,000 empty seats at every home game. Why don't they just put away fans elsewhere? There's plenty of space.
-
They are our true rivals, no doubt about it for me, but I do get what @manorparkis saying as well. I know plenty of NUFC fans who couldn't really give a toss about them. Where I live and work it's almost exclusively NUFC fans. We never really come across any Sunderland fans, we haven't played them in years, and they are now getting to the stage where they are so insignificant to really bother with, certainly from a sporting perspective. I still can't stand them like, although I do find it harder to get worked up about them these days compared to times of old, but I understand why they aren't really on the rader of a lot of NUFC fans. Tbh they were always the first result I'd check after our own but I was so buzzing after coming out of SJP on Saturday I didn't even give them a second thought and it wasn't until yesterday dinner time that I took the time to check their result and seen they drew.

Noticed this. It seemed to disappear for the 2nd half. Great flag like
-
Looks like they're taking yesterday's demolition of Aston Villa with their usual grace and charm

We were in the Gallowgate today and it was absolutely tremendous! Great to hear the Leazes singing as well, especially the North East corner. The whole club just feels as one and I love it!!!

Went for a piss came back and they were just finishing interviewing Taylor. Bit gutted I missed it all.

Gutted he fluffed that chance because that was some incredible bulid up play. Ultimately the lad is just not good enough. In fact he's miles away. I think that if Wilson got injured for these next 3 games Howe would play either Murphy or ASM up top ahead of him. Loved that 2nd half today. We were incredible at times and they couldn't live with us. My only gripe is clowns shouting "shoot" at Bruno every time he gets the ball but nothing at all to complain about on the pitch.
