They would get more in the league and the away followings will be bigger. Won't be that much bigger mate. Most clubs in L2 (likes of Pompey excepted) will take less than 500 to away games. Some as few as 50. They will always struggle with midweek home games due to the travelling.
-
May pop along myself, although I have actually been to a Gateshead game before. As an away fan though. They'll be fucked if they get up though. No way they'll survive L2 on less than 1k gates.
-
Fucking awful craic (sorry) to see people on the pitch after the third goal - and a few toon shirts in there - most of whom have probably never watched Gateshead before.
-
Turn up to Wembley. Walk in. It'll not be full like.
-
Liverpool should self flagellate themselves if they don't beat us by 5+.

Can you imagine. Pardew would have loaned Ginola out to Hartlepool and told Rob Lee to stop making runs in to the box. Beardsley, nah, too many touches. Move it to the big man up top quicker.
-
Someone should caption that photo (as was suggested on twitter by someone else) "So lads, what do you think of Pardew?"
-
Twitter has been up again for a while. Keep on using the hashtags and tweeting to @TimeToGoAlan.

No idea. Was fine and then boom! suspended. second time today. earlier it was due to "sending multiple direct unsolicited tweets" basically I retweeted some guy who sent a tweet to loads of football people (caulkin, steve harper, robbie elliot, stan collymore etc) and I think that killed it. It came back on pretty soon that time but now it's being more of a bastard.
-
Pissed off that the twitter account is temporarily out of action. Not sure I can do anything other than wait.

Anyone, i mean seriously, is there anyone out there who still doesn't think he needs to fuck off now?

Pardewed.

And Elliot could just as easily say the conversation never happened. That's hearsay. Guv knows exactly how the conversation went as he was involved in it, it's not hearsay unless I've completely got the meaning of the word confused. EDIT: I suppose it's hearsay to me or you like, but not to anyone actually involved in the conversation, to them it's either the truth or it isn't. Whatever that means Pure and simple really Glad someone else went there before I did.
-
Also wouldn't this make the vast majority of auto-biographies pretty much unpublishable? Sorry just seen this part of the conversation, you're allowed to repeat conversations you've had with people in written form ffs, it would be completely mental if you weren't Cuba is in the US, and everything there is a crime so I do forgive him for that post. Except white folk shooting black kids. They allow that.

*spoiler due to obscene image size, feel free to make smaller.

What's up? Someone making the same point as me. For most people that would speak volumes about the points they tend to make.
-
I just made one fairly innocuous point, and everyone went mental as usual. Yep, and you are sitting there as smug as fuck now no doubt. Job done I'm actually really frustrated about not being able to contribute anymore. People have made it almost impossible to make any alternative points. I've never said anything to get a reaction. Alternative points are acceptable, trying desperately to have a different viewpoint on everything is not. Sometimes the scales don't need balancing Ian.

The Guv is a sound lad. Well known by many on here IRL. I doubt he'd be making this up.

http://www.themag.co.uk/the-mag-articles/said-newcastle-keeper-rob-elliot-walked-club-last-night-spoke/ The Guv's piece for The Mag, for those who don't delve in to Pardew land.
-
with an added Pardew>>>>Keegan for good measure.
-
Yep. I've sent a polite one, asking for his response to t'Guv's article. I'd imagine many won't be so polite.
-
Doesn't mean you can't still derive some enjoyment from it though. We've got fuck all else to smile over.

I've not been on here for a while as my time has been mainly taken up by my extra counselling sessions, and long ponderous walks in the country At the time of that thread there were plenty of us Sunderland fans on there posting that the season was going to be a disaster, and we we shot down with the usual Mag kernt, WUM or bedwetter responses. I was accused of being all three for politely pointing out that this season was going to be a disaster, based purely on what recent SAFC history has taught us and that DI Canio and Di Fanti were useless. Sadly, and predictably, I was right. It actually looks like we'll probably be relegated before our last two homes games. I bet those are a barrel of laughs, and I wouldn't much fancy being a Sunderland player on those two days. The season hasn't been all bad. Taking six points from you lot, and the cup final were fantastic, and something I though I'd never see as a Sunderland fan, and I'll always look at those days with happiness. But the overriding feeling I'll get when it all comes to it's inevitable conclusion "oh well, we're down again", which in itself is quite damning. We have to stick with Poyet, as constantly changing managers has been a nightmare. But he must git rid of the poison we've accumulated over the last 4 or 5 years, and start again in the Championship. Many Sunderland fans, and some fans from other clubs, think we'll come straight back up. I don't. I think the play-offs would be a more realistic target, and would be happy with that. I'm obviously disappointed with the way the season has gone, but it's came as no surprise, and the blow has been softened by the fact that many of us seen it coming. I know it's a cliché, but f*** it. Sunderland til I die ! the thing of it is that if you somehow survive, I'd reckon you'd have had a better season than us with the cup runs and the derbies. If we don't change manager and invest (lololol) pretty good chance of us joining you in the championship next season anyway Really? Far too much in your squad for that to happen I reckon. you mean like duff, owen, viduka, martins, colloccini, beye, bassong, etc, etc Valid point. If you can keep Remy or bring in someone similar you should be fine though. There is the main issue. We aren't keeping Remy (he won't even play for us anymore) and we have seen how good we are at bringing in the right sort of people. Regardless, if the current arsewipe of an excuse of a manager is still here it doesn't matter what players we have. The players we have now aren't playing for him anymore so we are fucked either way. At least your pain is almost over, we can see a long degenerative illness taking hold before we succumb.

I've never heard that before, please tell me more about this fascinating story.

Rooting for Wigan here. Now that the dispersal of Euro places has absolutely no bearing on us I want to see Arsenal finish 5th with no trophy, just for the lolz. Wigan/Hull final surely the best bet for a competitive game anyway, IMO.
