On top of possibly Brooks, Aron Johannsson declared for the US today. He's replacing Altidore at AZ, could be pretty good and hopefully does enough to get a look in before the WC. Would be nice if we could add one more striker to rely on, Gomez/Wondo/Johnson should be improved upon

Sounds like John Anthony Brooks has accepted a callup for the Bosnia friendly, hopefully that's enough to convince him fulltime. If he has a good season in the Bundesliga I bet he'll end up making the WC squad.

Assuming we got Remy, I'd rather Gomis come in than Bent. Probably wouldn't matter either way, but Gomis can give us something else while Bent is practically the same as Cisse. Would be nice to have 3/4 attacking options all with their own styles.

He did kick out at Simpson (and maybe someone else) at Anfield last season, just didn't have ESPN to replay it 15 times to make sure he's banned. So that's a reason to believe it.

I was expecting a younger squad tbh, wanted to see Bobby Wood and Joe Gyau. He definitely has his system in place, and we have enough decent players to fill it.

Most impressive tournament I've watched from us, Klinsmann got it right mixing untested fringe players with some vets. Wish I was going to be in the city for the final on Sunday, would definitely be going. I'll take drunkenly watching it at a lake house instead
