  1. If he were a defensive mid they would've already.

    Shola Ameobi

Don't really have any problems with him personally, always seemed like a nice, cheery fellow. Definitely shit, but it's not his fault people have kept him around so far.

    Hatem Ben Arfa

I just cant get excited until it officially happens.
  4. Shocked all the winner are from Inter.
  5. Seriously though, hard to predict this one, could see us winning, but wouldn't be surprised with a dull 2-0 win for them.

    Steven Taylor

I always thought of Saylor as a guy who goes hand in hand with the club; local, academy guy, etc. But, he hasn't been anything special over the years, and when I actually think about him leaving it's not that big of a deal, it just seems like it is for whatever reason. Glad to see we're standing firm on this and hopefully we can use some of this money if a sale happens for another player.
  7. Tbh, shopping malls all over the place are having this problem. The bigger problems are definitely the loans.
  8. The correct thing to do would be to force your friend to wear it while you set fire to his Liverpool shirt. Could get the City shirt off my hands in the process. I like it.
  9. Now the real question, I have a Man City shirt, I'll be seeing my Liverpool supporting friend tonight...
  10. Not as bad as the other guy who referred to the Emirates as "Clock End Stadium." Max Bretos, he's ridiculous, just don't listen to him, ever.
  11. Been doing it all Summer, I'll stop if I'm coming across as a twat. Just thought people might want to share/discuss what they're seeing too. I just want to learn! :-[ I'm enjoying myself.
  12. I would imagine that after a few poor results this whole three defensive mids thing will change and Tevez will have a striker to play off of. I would imagine that after a few poor results this whole three defensive mids thing will change and Tevez will have a striker to play off of. Hmm, be interesting to see what happens once teams learn to deal with the extra man in the middle/Man City come up against organised teams. Like Tottenham last week they were toothless up front due to how deep Tevez naturally wants to come. It allows the Defence and Midfield to squeeze together and keep a good bank of 4 together. When Adebayor came on, he was always pushing forward, pushing the defensive line back, making a gap between the defence and midfield that a Tevez could use. Plus, he was in the area to win balls and benefit from the crosses. Yeah, it certainly did open them up a bit when Ade came on, there were points where I think Tottenham just wanted escape with a draw in the last ten minutes because of the increase of pressure.
