He might not of taken any money out of the club in actual terms but HE HAS taken money out from advertising space: If you replaced every sports direct sign in the stadium (including the big f*** off massive ones on the roofs) with Nike signs for example, and it was called the Nike Arena (sigh) can you imagine how much this would cost Nike annually. Trying to pull wool over our eyes as usual. Good idea on then Nike thing. I dare say that would get us aload of money. I reckon they should 'showcase' the idea using Mike's company. Yeh I bet that would showcase just how supportive the fans would be of it too. It wouldn't put companies off advertising at SJP at all!

Wouldn't rename the stadium but quite happy to rename Newcastle women. There were ample 'Cameron Hall' and 'Shepherd Offshore' signs around the stadium. Admittedly not as many as the SD signage but it was the prominant advertising at that time. What? Have you seen the state of the stadium now ffs. How can you even mention the few Shepherd Offshore signs that there used to be!! Incomparable! Ashley owns the club outright. Its in his interest for the club to make a profit. He spent/wasted alot of money buying us, and don't kid yourself that he wants some of it back, hes a ruthless businessman, its something he does well. Totally agree.

Taking this with a pinch of salt. Unless it is revealed that Sports Direct Ltd has paid 50m for all the advertising they're getting I won't be giving credit to Mike Ashley. Hate the man, made alot of money from us, yet he wouldn't dream of renaming the stadium or plastering as much shit around it.

And the sickening thought is, that this is exactly what we're like.. and half the other teams in the league

Actually said 9.5/10 not that it matters. Absolutely cant believe this. He was part of the problem why the game was so ugly cos he didnt deal with the challenges properly and consistently.

Absolutely took the piss at times the way he went past them. When he beat two people with one move Thought he was excellent and made the right choices as for when to make a run and when to pass. Should at least play more if not starting. (I would always start him)
