Sell no-one, tie Krul/Colo/Ba on new long term deals, sign Benalouane or Samba, sign Cissokho, aim for the top 4. That there would be the sort of ambition we want from FMA. Mbiwa and Cissokho in and we are now a side who CAN challenge for CL. steady on
-
If only Ashley would follow suit.

I liked QPR up until today. Want them down now, hope it happens

Got a season ticket in leezers this season, been fine so far up until man u- We were 2 nil up and they missed a golden chance, 5 secs later a pint of piss came hurtling down getting alot of people (fortunately I somehow avoided it lol) but serious, absolute scum who do this. I dont like sitting under the away fans though, cos youve always got the risk of this, and youve always got nob heads round you constantly turning round throw V and wanker signs, proper does my nut. Was sat next to the blackburn corner today and whole match had to put up with kids acting hard mouthing off to away fans 20 ft away. Most of the time its OK though. A friend of mine went to milan away (when we did this kinda thing) and our fans were below home fans, whole game they were getting shit thrown down and spat on, and even at one point there were flares getting thrown down. Fortunately this will never happen in this country!

It all happened very quickly like; I was in leezers, there was definitely about 5-6 players round him at different stages of his run, not sure how many challenges went in, was one of them little 'darty' runs close to the goal line that feature on some of his youtube vids, then he just smashed it in the roof of net. The whole place erupted like. unsurprisingly.

I'm sorry you didn't enjoy writing it. I hope it makes you feel better that I thoroughly enjoyed reading it, and completely agree with the choices

What a f***ing stupid thing to say, we didn't HAVE to accept the Carroll bid, it's pathetic. Makes it sound like we want clubs to do us a favour by bidding for players, wankers. It was completely in our interest to accept that bid though.. I think Liverpool fans should be the ones most upset by that, "If you want to buy one of our players, you will have to pay us 10 times what they're worth"
-
Until Krul can distribute the ball without kicking it out of play or conceding possession, I don't think I would rate him top4. But don't get me wrong, I think the rest of his game is very good. Also having tiote or cabaye ahead of others (for example lampard) is hilariously biased

So they've got a very windy stadium.. that explains it. Seriously intrigued to know what the real reason is, can't really just be 'cos its full of mackems
-
I know plenty of people here have picked up on it before, and I've noticed it countless times myself over the years... How can they not deal with all the rubbish getting blown around the pitch? Its ridiculous, surely the club themselves would want to fix this? Edit: and since I've been writing this theres been 2 posts regarding this!
-
They can protect all they like, you will get picked off all over next game at the SOL. At present no home fan can get anywhere near because you have a walkway from the metro straight to the South Stand, this is about to change. You've obviously never seen the protection(or lack of it) that Sunlun fans get from Central Station to the Sports Direct Arena Obviously living down south you don't attend home games, seems a familiar story on this forum. They don't offer as much protection to St. James derbies because we're not coordinating our forces to pick your lot off. We're too busy coordinating getting to the pub for a pre match pint and to greggs for a pasty!

What even is world class? England are rated 5th in the world rankings and Ben Arfa would easily get into the england setup

Surely they can call it what they want? I don't see how they are under any obligation to call it SDA. They still will eventually since its the official line..
-
Yeh quite alot of people call it Sir John Hall now like. Gallowgate remains though
-
Your fault tbh. Hardly.. but had I known about this I wouldn't of bought one believe me. I actually find this laughable that they think people believe this showcase nonsense. Asif companies will be more attracted to it now that its called the SDA. Chelsea are renaming their stadium and I have no doubt that they will have no difficulty in doing so without renaming it the Millhouse Capital Arena etc. Hes getting free advertising for his brand and not giving a single fuck what fans think. As he has from day one.
-
I hate the quote "We're rebranding the stadium". It wasn't branded in the first place.. Its name is St James Park and thats what it always will be regardless of how they try to "brand" it. Fuming that I actually just recently gave this dickhead money for a ST. How one is blinded by money.. (or saving money should I say)

That's incredibly harsh. Ashley presided over the signing of the players and actively decided to go and get Pardew. He has to take the credit for how it has worked out. I don't believe for one second that Ashley knew who Tiote and Cabaye were. He will of said how old are they, how much do they cost, and how much could they cost. Great buys. But praise the scouts and the manager for that. For all we know, Tiote and Cabaye could of been way down the list of targets that were given to Ashley, but the other ones were deemed too expensive.
-
I think he's getting too much credit and the players deserve alot more. He's got the club on a sound financial footing, which is great , and he did it with his own money, which Im very grateful for, but the rest.. very disappointing. I give alot of credit to how Pardew is conducting things, but I wouldn't necessarily give Ashley credit for appointing Alan Pardew, he was cheap and willing. And the stadium looks appalling.

Got mine today ticket availability is deffo decreasing

When del piero hit the bar man, that was un comfortable
-
Do you really think other fans actually notice and/or care? I hate the advertising, but nobody except Newcastle fans have ever mentioned it to me. I have an Arsenal supporting friend from uni that had been to the game. After our game with them he rang as usual and one of the first things he said was 'wtf is all that advertising on top of the stands' and how in your face it was.

Don't understand the debate. Everyones playing too well to be dropped for HBA other than obertan whos useless and should be immediately dropped for HBA!

Had a dream last night that he did an interview with football focus/motd where he addressed the fans personally and explained all his actions. He sounded weird and it wasnt pleasant.
