  1. To be honest their situation is similar to ours last season, what with being in Europe and struggling in the league, and we all anted Pardew out. Granted the standard of football isn't comparable, but they are genuinely at risk of relegation, having spent a fair bit of money (something Pardew wasn't allowed to do). this, I think what will have been the tipping point was 30 mins odd vs 10 man West Ham and never even remotely threaten their goal. Premature perhaps but there's been stories saying he wasn't well liked by the players from day one, now when you get results those complaints seem minor and irrelevant when you don't they become deafening Good points. He's been unlucky with injuries though, but I guess after spending a fair amount that's not really an excuse. I'd have him here for sure though. They spent 20 mil, most of it on Bony and Shelvey who both look decent.
  2. Jesus HappyFace has reached Brett levels of talking absolute utter shite
  3. Agree with that. I don't see why anyone is deserving of respect if they are unwilling to make sacrifices for the greater good of the club. I can certainly see why they make the decisions they do and you have to accept them - and I don't condemn it , but I can't respect it. Making a sacrifice, giving up something you enjoy for the greater good of the club? How can you not respect that. I wouldn't call someone an apologist for going to a match but it's just factual that it means you are enabling.
  4. Fair play It certainly is admirable when someone is willing to sacrifice the match day experience for the greater good of the club.
  5. I don't think you understand what random means.
  6. Spot on. We will of course though see in this thread the vacuous argument that being a supporter means going to matches regardless of any circumstance and that it is even somehow admirable to actively enable those who take the p*ss out of you. Which is akin to some sort of retarded old military romanticism like charging at machine guns. Nice analogy. Supporting through thick and thin captures a lot - being f***ed over by refs, blowing your last chance at silverware or success for what you expect will be an unforeseeably long time etc... but it doesn't include funding/supporting a management structure which seeks to deny you the opportunity to even feel such nadirs/injustice or makes you ashamed of the club. Summed up nicely. Now HF am I right in saying that you think it does include these circumstances? If your answer is yes the fair enough. But you should at least be man enough to admit that it is a romantic, backwards, unproductive and Mike Ashley enabling viewpoint to hold. Do you admit this? Try and be straight with your answers, avoiding the issue and launching off into romantic gibberish is tiresome.
  7. Popped over to TT to gauge the reaction to the derby loss and found this gem from HappyFace:
  8. Some sort of horrible role reversal Alan Pardew has manufactured here.
  9. I think Martinez (or anyone worth considering) would not take the job with Kinnear as DOF so that question is not really answerable . Also I cannot believe anyone would disagree with your final sentence. Fair enough - I suppose the question isn't all that great. On the basis that there are lots of better managers out there than Pardew, it is reasonable to assume they would be doing better than him. I just can't work out by how much he is underperforming and where we should reasonably expect to be (caveated of course by the fact that we should be aiming to win stuff and shouldn't limit ourselves..). Taking the results in isolation on a spreadsheet, he's not doing a bad job this season. As a supporter, this result coupled with the cup performances/results have been a disgusting slap in the face. Personally I could never ever forgive him for last season's derby, now that he's doubled it up though I don't know how anybody could. Gullitt walked after dropping Shearer and losing a derby match 2-1 at home, and the press called his team sheet the equivalent of a suicide note. Yet Pardew loses two successive home derbies 3-0 on the bounce and yet the fans are still sympathetic. I'm flabbergasted tbh. We just seem to accept derby defeats with a shrug of the shoulders these days. Horse punching, pitch invading, season ticket hoying, full throated, stadium wide booing and negatory chanting aside like. There has been f*** all back-lash and you know it. Shrug of the shoulders is an apt description in proportion to the crime committed.
  10. Ok, we'll stick with what we've got. Phew, that's a relief. Imagine: It could have gotten worse!
  11. f***ing hell man You sound like a f***ing lowly medieval peasant
  12. That's a really pathetic attitude man. Every single human being that ever lived in an oppressed environment could have found hypothetical excuses why to not bother trying to upset or rebel against an authority. No doubt that if you were Vietnamese during the 60's you would be shouting from the rooftops about the military superiority of the USA and not to bother to fight as it's hopeless and will only result in death. No, I'm considering whether or not to renew myself, but I'm not expecting it to have any impact.

  14. How can there not be some blame directed at match going fans? They are enablers. A customer has one way to let his/her opinion be known and Newcastle fans are not availing of it. Match going fans are Mike Ashley enablers.

  16. Erm that's not how i would describe the bag of s*** who's our manager like. Hello? Dignified Pardew isn't. A c*** certainly. HELLO?
  17. Good, the more uproar and trouble the better. The fat c*** will never have any intention of leaving if he can lull the entire support base into a numb apathy. The more dissatisfaction the better. The worst things is, and Mike knows it, is that all it takes is a few wins to get every dumb c*** onside as we saw earlier in the season during our "fantastic run". he has no intention of leaving until he gets his money back. Fans opinion is irrelevant The f***ing French monarchy has no intention of leaving before the revolution. Who cares about his f***ing intention. If there was a mass movement to remove the c***, something similar to what Liverpool fans did to their last owners, then you could remove the c***.

  19. My God. You kinda have to admire the way Mike can manipulate these idiots though fucking hell.
  20. Have a f***ing word with yourself. Clueless. Beyond stupid.
  21. Alan Pardew enabling c***s have this on their hands. HappyFace, HarisVukic ect. cunts.
