    Alan Shearer

I miss having a striker and goalscorer like him in our team man. We could have always relied. Instead, we have Joelinton now who cost much much more than the great man but is absolute shit.
  2. Rocker[/member].. you still getting some update later this evening mate?

    "Ameobi's downward header, SSSSHHHEEEAAAAARRRRREEERRRRRRR!!!!!!"
  4. Wrong move. It would have probably died down after a while. What it does now is get the attention and it will be even more intense. Absolute dumb ass.
  5. You're saying this as fact, rather than opinion. Depends who you believe of course. Which deleted account were you btw? Godzilla? Both the PL and buyer have said this - it’s about the only thing they both agree on. Staveley through her various interviews and the PL through their propaganda session just before PIF ‘withdrew’ claiming there was an impasse due to the make up of the organisations. Plus it’s also what I’ve heard, unofficially, and makes the most sense as legally the PL couldn’t reject the takeover based on the piracy. Can you put a link to where the premier league said this please? I’ve literally told you what happened in my post, the articles were all posted in this thread - go and read it yourself and join the dots up. Why whenever I ask posters like you (you know, the ones who "KNOW THIS IS ON") you always refuse to post the links to your facts? Because I work a full time job and don’t have the time/can’t be arsed to pull up the 5 or 6 articles which were posted at the time. Here’s one, by example: www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2020/07/27/newcastle-united-takeover-gridlocked-saudi-led-consortium-struggles/amp/ Fwiw, I’ve never said ‘I know it’s on’ - I’ve just posted the information I have which may or may not be relevant or true. I’m confident it is on, but the only people who ‘know’ are sat in PL headquarters. Ahh, I misunderstood. I read your post as it being the PL who had said it, which is why you were so certain. But actually it's Luke Edwards. That makes things much clearer. So you're basing your facts (opinions) on a story from Luke Edwards and some information put out by Staveley. Cool. And the 5 other articles all written at exactly the same time? Did Luke Edwards tell them? Or was the information from a source distributed to multiple journalists at the same time? Not sure why Staveley would be the source - she was furious by it. Not sure why Ashley would be the source - he nearly lost much needed investment. Who else is left?... Then ask yourself - why is it important for the PL to have MBS added as a director if it's nothing relating to piracy? Already been answered countless times - because the PL have concerns he will have control of (or major influence in) the club, which is against their rules as a state cannot own a club. Right, so they want it so they can reject it? So basically they have every right to be asking for this if it's going to be the case (you say it's easily solved) It is easily solved - assurances have been given that MBS will have no control. PL weren’t willing to accept that, but with the pressure now being applied, it is hoped that the PL will reconsider this stance and accept the assurances they have been given. He's the chairman of the public investment fund for f*** sake, stop deluding yourself. Sheik Mansour owns Abu Dhabi United Group, which owns 80% of Manchester City. What’s your point? Ooo yes. How is that justified?
  6. Agreed. Any public sympathy is going to disappear the second the media get a shot of some moron shouting abuse at Masters and his family. PL will pay some knob to wear a Newcastle shirt to do that while flying a Saudi flag. All hope is lost.
  7. The PL will approve the deal. A day after the transfer fucking window shuts.
  8. Martin Tyler and Andy Gray Ashley-Bishop
  9. Lime one has same coloured shorts and socks. Purple one goes with black shirts and socks.
  10. So to sum up todays development, bitter enemies Mike Ashley and Newcastle fans are on the same page?
  11. Crazy. The takeover is claimed to have failed. How can it fail when there was never a decision made? All that happen was the buyers pulled out. PL have never said it failed. So that is what we should be demanding. Asking them for the results for theor stupid test. If it is rejected, the I will call it failed.
  12. Glad that its not only us feeling Fulham and West Brom bring absolutely nothing to the PL apart from a good away day at Craven Cottage. Gutted both Brentford and Forest absolutely bottled it.
  13. Fuck Fulham. They'll just get relegated again. Might be the same with Brentford but at least it would be a new team in the PL.
  14. Aye, but he thought it was going to be good news. Some backfire, that. Well, I didn't get that good news part because part of me already anticipated bad news.
  15. Get in Rocker lad! Wait, wasn't it you who told us to put elastic bands on our socks because it was going to get blown off the next day or something like that? And God I believed you then with what happened the next day so I'm believing you now again.
  16. https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/53654387 On BBC sport website now. Have Sky said anything yet? This will gather momentum, even more so if the numbers keep growing
  17. The Qatar factor certainly does not help PL's image in all of this. The PL should have kept away from that influence and rejected the deal and people would probably accept it.
  18. But is the main reason PL not making a decision because the buyers aren't doing what they are asked of? So far, Stavely has said all questions have been answered. Ashley said he wants the deal to happen. So isn't it just waiting a PL decision?
  19. That Reuben statement is in line with what Staveley was saying. It ain't over yet. PL can still say yes and they would just carry out their plans. Come on PL. Approve the deal you fucking dickheads.
  20. I, for one remember when Chopra came out of the blue and said Saudis were in line to buy us and no one gave a fuck about it because it was the BZG deal that people were more focussed on and were pissed it did not happen. When the Saudis involvement became public, I said 'holy fuck, Chopra called it'. So I'm not going to disbelieve him but at the same time, ain't going to hold on to his words either.
  21. Only other person I want to own us apart from the Saudis is the most electrifying man in sports entertainment, The Rock. Come on Rocky! Buy us and we'll layeth the smackdown on all the other club' candy asses
