Also, fair fucks to Brighton btw, that club has been setup for generations due to the smart business that Bloom has employed. Love what they're doing.

While I do think there is a potential massive upside to these transfers, like you say, if it clicks, it could really click. I just think with the money they're paying it's a massive risk (I think similar about Rice fyi), there is also a slight trend that when players leave the confines of Brighton and their very specific club play style and mantra, that they tend to not get back to the point they where at at Brighton.

£110m Looking forward to Klopp bemoaning their tough financial situation again this season

I don't think it's as easy as that any more to be honest, Chelsea, Man United, Arsenal, Liverpool and Man City are all going to be really strong, then add in Us, Villa & Brighton who are really trying to break up that monopoly. It just feels that losing the one player they bank on time and again/ their only real world class player will put them back a little bit. It wouldn't surprise me if they're fighting for Europa League for a year or two. Obviously they have that money to reinvest, and I rate Ange as a good manager and one that fits Spurs, so it could be a situation whereby they need to cut that weight to be able to progress long term. As its got to the point where they are so reliant on Kane that it could be deemed as detrimental to the overall performance of the team.

100%, they're just going to be upset that there attempt to block the takeover has been a resounding failure, and they've stumbled backwards continually since. Like they say, the dildo of consequences rarely comes lubed.

Would rather it during to be honest, it works in Rugby, no reason it shouldn't in football. Would just make things so much clearer.

Just do this please. Would make life 1000x better.

I was actually thinking that, bringing in Botman and replacing Maddison with Rashford, Botman would then start on the bench given our tough run of games at the start, and Estupinan would start. Would also give me 2.0 left in the bank for any early transfers too. Trent is guaranteed points though so its a risk. But I might do it.

Went through my team again and made a fair few changes, i've gone quite heavy on Brighton and Arsenal to start the season as both their opening 4/5 games are really favorable. Think Pedro at 5.5 could be a steal come the end of the season. I want to try and get Odegaard in somehow, but not sure how, I also needed a throwaway 4.5 midfielder so took a punt on Anderson, as he's likely to get a fair bit of game time this season and has looked decent in pre-season, so it a logical squad filler. Think that looks balanced, though I want to get one of Bruno Fernandes or Rashford in, and i'm not sure how. I am also completely depleted with funds so doesn't give me much wiggle room going forward.
