  1. A lot of the modern pundits can just phone it in and get drawn into being "personalities" like Keane and Richards, where the talk is more for creating a "moment" so it can be clipped up and chucked over social media for some fake hype, seriously look on Twitter today and all the talk today has been about Richards laughing over Keane, that's job done for Sky, they have some fake clout and eyes on them, box ticked and onto the next one. Its to much effort to actually dissect the game in detail so the viewer can actually have an understanding of what went wrong/ right in particular scenarios. Its actually somewhat ridiculous the level of effort Sky and the like put into these things, we are living in an age where managers go into the finest detail about every situation or scenario, every aspect of a match is thought of, every stat scrutinized, just look at Fraser's latest interview for proof of that. Yet as viewers all we get is base line platitudes, old school cliches, and the game thought over in a very limited sense. Honestly, the Kick-off lot are better then most punditry, and alot of the best analysis of games can be found on YouTube like James Laurence Allcot, mainly as they have to put actual effort into what they are doing in order to keep people engaged, and to remain there, as YouTube/Twitch is a cruel game to be involved in, the next up and coming star is just round the corner. Modern pundits are generally ex-players that know they will always have job somewhere if the punditry gig fails, given there profile as ex-footballers people will be lining up for them to shell some random product if money ever gets tight, and that's not even discussing the likes of Talk Sport and Gabby Agbonlahor, who literally disagree with any narritive just to make people slightly agitated enough to phone in. Linekar, Wright and Shearer are the best of the mainstream lot for me.
  2. This sums it up better then anything I could put Surprised Ritchie isn't on the list, but he could be a team leader off the pitch, and if we're anticipating a 6 to 8 player turn over, it makes sense he's staying as a "utility" player.
  3. I wouldn't "miss" him, but Hayden would go with well wishes, he's been a decent servant to the club and always seem a decent bloke who tried his hardest. Would be slightly disappointed with Almiron, but thats mainly due to the initial promise he showed then anything else, without Bruce it could have been different for him. This summer is the right time to move him on mind. Rest can all bugger off
  4. 8% possession in 15 minutes
  5. That is a fucking class finish.
  6. That was actually disgusting from from Foden.
  7. 2-1, Man City where queuing up there
  8. Class from Sancho, Man United deserve that.
  9. Win this and we'll only be 4 points behind them. They're 9th
  10. The fuck did I know, 7 points, Eddie Howe scoff's in the face of 7 points

    Eddie Howe

18 points from 8 games, who the fuck saw that coming post Watford
  12. I honestly don't know what you are seeing, he was better then both Shelvey and Willock in the short time he was on the pitch, set up and inch perfect through ball to ASM, and broke up play well. Only thing I can think of is that he held onto the ball a bit long, instead of hoofing it long, but even that he always found a pass/ got fouled in the box.
  13. Thought he was good bar one needless flick myself. Although he's way to calm on the ball for my liking
  14. Get the fuck in huge win. Very unconvicting and probably the worst we've played during this run we're on, but confidence and the crowd got us over the line. Its that sort of match that if we where going for the title, commentary would be saying its "the sign of champions", but the 3 points are all that matter at this point. 3 home wins on the trot, 18 points from 8 and unbeaten in that time. Howay the fucking lads.
  15. What a weird half of football, we've been 2nd best yet we're 2 up and should be 3. Our midfield has been pretty poor to be honest and where most of our issue have come from, Shelvey has been sloppy and off the pace, would like to see Bruno replace him, and Willock has been anonymous but hopefully he grows into the game like he tends too, Joe has been beastly again mind. Wood, Fraser and Murphy have been full of pressing, and our defense has been solid, Burn being solid as a rock.
  16. If I was to picture the most stereotypical looking middle aged American, it'd look like Jesse Marsch
