I'm still somewhat upbeat to be honest, today was bad, but we've shown enough signs over the last 5 games we should be able to get out of it, only issue is our horrendous run of games until the new year.

I was going to say similar, but feared I might get lambasted for saying it, but other then the penalty, I thought we where alright, and probably the overall better team, admittedly while not really doing much going forward up, and then the second went in, and we collectively shit our pants.

I said in the match thread, but people where praising the team sheet before the game, and I personally think it was our best 11, the squad all over just lacks quality, and thats just the sad state of things at the moment. Centre mid needs changing, but our options are so limited its ridiculous. Today was pretty shambolic, but people saying there have been no positives since he came in is very hyperbolic, since he came in, at the very least Howe has got the players working for each other, had a plan in every game, and had them fighting. In each of the last 4 games there have been positives, against Brentford we attacked really well, and should have won, against Arsenal defended well for the most part, outdone by quality, against Norwich the players showed unbeleivable fight for 80 minutes and got a valiant draw, and obviously we beat Burnley. Today was a mess, but lets not kid ourselves, these sorts of results are going to happen as the players are just Championship at best, and until recently where being trained like they where in the National League, thats not a recipe for success. Also I very much doubt Rafa would have had better results.

Scary this about this is that I thought this was our best team, blame Howe all you want, but this team just lacks quality in the key areas.

On the complete flip side to that, people like yourself have pretty much continuously been needlessly negative, its been the same from yourself during every game, despite in every game there been a load of positives. You seem needlessly negative, today has been utterly awful mind.

Pretty much where i'm at, even today, I think the game has been pretty even they've just had that final bit of quality, where our players are lacking completely.

Was more focusing on the F1 for the majority of that, but from what I saw we where for the most part defensively pretty solid, but not doing much going forward, until we conceded, where we woke up. That fair to say?

I mean, we've had 14 years of utter shite, to say "Mad that anyone is happy" is hyperbole at its finest, I know that getting the hierarchy in is important, but people are generally happy that theyre looking to appoint someone with the right credentials and and more concerned with it being the correct appointment, rather then being rushed for the sake of a single window.
