Cabaye is completely wasted as a defensive midfielder. That's the second game in a week where he's run around pointlessly, hasn't touched the ball, got booked, and wasted over an hour each time of his life.

What's wrong with getting relegated, the Championship was a ton of laughs. Might get rid of Pardew, Ashley might sell up, ok the good players like Cabaye would leave but he will anyhow. And most importantly every game wouldn't be on TV and I could start enjoying weekends again. It would a win win win situation.

Well Col is being very disingenuous about the way he wants to leave the club. When it comes down to it, very few of them are honest. I think BAE at Spurs once said he only played for the money and didn't really like football, I admire him for that.

Cabaye might not want to sod off to a small team in Argentina, but if he gets the chance he'll be off to one of the top 6 as will all our decent players. They'll get paid more money and are more likely to realistically challenge for something.

I suspect next year Pardew will be Manager and Andy Carroll will be back at CF. We will probably play some kind of 442, though who the wingers will be I've no idea. Anybody who wouldn't prefer Martinez to the charlatan Pardew needs to open their eyes and just watch the difference in approach between the way the two teams play. Wigan pass the ball around, they are creative and technical , we are all just brute force and ignorance.
