  1. Well I just cheered the Villa goal, just couldn't help it.
  2. Sunderland winning is obviously the best result for us, however once the game starts there is no way I could be willing the mackems on. Villa are a nice team to watch, great going forward. I think they'll win. Anyhow if we can't get out of the position we are in with the players we've got, we deserve to go down. We have certainly played the worst football in the division this season, uglier than Stoke.
  3. I don't think playing Williamson and Simpson will be such a bad thing. They both played a lot last season and look where we finished, and neither of them or as bad as some people on here make out. We don't need to win at WHU or QPR, two draws and I'm sure we would be safe. We certainly need to defend better than we have done, Haidara shouldn't be having to play every game and MYM should probably be left out as well. Play Perch at LB, and Colo too if he's fit.
  4. maybe not signed yet but about too.
  5. He did sign a new contract, one less potential manager to dream about.
  6. All these tattoos, just the dregs these people.
  7. Could do with three points for Arsenal. It's unlikely they will have a top four position sown up when they come to SJP, but it would be helpful if they did.

    Alan Pardew

There is a way out for Pardew. He should just resign (not offer to resign-they would probably reject it). Then release a statement that he is unable to motivate the players (which he didn't buy/want in the first place) and that they just don't listen to him anymore. That way we get a new manager and Pardew doesn't have to take all the blame for this shambles. Somebody would probably even give him a job in the future. If he stays and gets us relegated he'll never manage again, apart from the remaining 7 years left on his contract.
  9. True it was a ridiculously negative starting line up, but once things started to go pear shape, heads went down very quickly. Cabaye still ran around a lot, but most of the others didn't want to be there. Debuchy really didn't want to be there.
  10. So for the first time in the history of the Premier League a club has played with 7 foreign players all of the same nationality. Newcastle won't forget it. Coincidence? They didn't half bottle it today.
  11. Pour la première fois de l'histoire de la Premier League, un club a aligné sept joueurs étrangers d'une même nationalité au cours d'un match de Championnat. Avec ses sept Français, Newcastle se souviendra aussi de cette rencontre pour cela. (Infostrada)
  12. They were always going to pick us off on the counter, this is why Pardew won't start with this formation.
  13. Taylor has to accept most of the responsibility for both of the goals
  14. Well this is going well. Although Pardew is to blame for a lot of things, there are a lot of very highly paid wankers out there who look clueless.
  15. I think Jarvis looks pretty sharp, he's certainly giving Zabaleta something to think about. One of the only old fashioned wingers left.

Can we close this one now, 1000 pages written about an absolute cunt of a manager.

    Alan Pardew

It's very damming that between us we have posted nearly 1000 pages about this inconsequential idiot of a manager, who has removed any enjoyment from watching the team we all love
  18. I think this game is the most likely to give us a win or at least a point especially with Suarez out. I wouldn't fancy us even at home against Arsenal, who will probably be playing for a Champion's league place. Away from home we are just stinking, I'm sure than AC and Nolan are looking forward to our wobbly defence arriving at Upton Park, and Redknapp if he can get his players up for it, will be thinking there are three points there for the taking, even if they have been relegated by then.
  19. From BBC Sport: "There will be shock on two levels. Firstly, from the club, the player and the fans at the severity of the punishment. Secondly, from across football because this is two games more than the ban Suarez received for racially abusing Patrice Evra." What a load of shit, nobody outside of some of the Liverpool support will be shocked or surprised. He's a serial offender, it's normal that it's an increase on the 7 match ban the Dutch gave him for the same offence. The press, what a bunch of plonkers.
  20. Somewhere deep down Pep must be hoping they don't win the Champions League, if they do, the only place he can go is down or at best the same as. What is Bayerns manager going to do next season?
  21. Both Weimann and Benteke would strengthen us, arguably the Zog as well, though I don't think he can come back.
  22. Villa have got some great attacking players if they do go down, some nice pickings for clubs with money
  23. I don't think any of the goals were offside. They were all pretty much in line and I thought the benefit of the doubt was meant to be for the attacker.
