:sadnod:There are 3 types of posters on this section of the board like imo (although I think oretty much everyone wants Ashley gone providing we get a better replacement), those dead set against the 'regime' and will highlight everything bad and ignore the good for the most part, those who will swing backwards and forwards along with each individual event or 'catalyst' (the majority), and those who seem to put a positive spin on everything. I wouldn't say the latter was 'pro-Ashley', or an 'Ashley apologist' they just don't seem to want to view the decisions as damaging to the club. Nobody can realy claim to be wrong or right, but the few in the first and third categories are always liable to be in the thick of the argument, or feel like people are "getting at them" due to there 'one sided' view point. Whether right or wrong. As an example i've went from "give him a chance/see if he spends the money" to "he's a cunt, someone kill him" over the past 6 months or so. Others have been in the "kill the cunt" camp for years, and others are currently (and always have been) in the "he's running the club in a sensible maner/he's having to be astute because of the previous owners/the players left because they were (greedy/shit/bad for morale) etc" Some of that will be sensationalist like, and I'll not name names but I think it's pretty obvios for the most part.

We only had 7-8 months to find one to be fair. And when you look at it that way it's completely acceptable that we're still starting Peter Lovenkrands in the Premiership like.
-
Aye, pretty much my feelings to be honest, only put across better.

How is it not as bad as people are making out? Nobody is saying we're doomed to relegation or anything, just that we've somehow managed to come into the season with a squad that will probably finish mid table or lower, when with a bit of investment (that we actualy could have easily done) we could be challenging for Europe. It's horrible to see the players we could have gotten, even so much as the players themselves pushingg for a move in some cases, but never due to either ineptitude, our our reluctance to actualy spend any money (we proper class at selling players like, Mike fucking loves that).
-
If you were Joey Barton, would you sooner finish around 8th to 10th with us, or finish probably 16th at best just because they've spent a few bob. Obviosly 8-10th with us (it's hardly a certainty like). I'm not saying QPR are as good as us, or have more potential than us, but there owner is atleast not trying he's hardest assett strip there club. isn't he(tony fernandes) doing exactly what ashley did when he first came in ? When Ashley first came in he seemed alright tbf, and Fernandes has improved QPR. I'm guessing i'm missing something here? fernandes has came in and in the first few months done exactly as ashley did ? do you think he'll keep on doing it ? If he recieves £35m for a player I think he'll put more than a couple million of it back into the team, yes.

QPR are trying to improve there squad going into the season, and they are spending money to do so, that is ambition. If you agree with the signings they have made or not. I'm oretty sure QPR fans will be estatic with the signings they've made tbf. There is about 3 people who are estatic with our buisness.

Came here by order of Johnny Hall. Or fuck sake man, if this is true, and they aren't getting put back up, then he's just taking the piss.

It was I. I've had a word with meself. Keegan is God and from this day forth I shall w*** over how right our ex-players and manager were. Thanks for setting me right fella You facepalmed a guy for making a factual post worthy of discusion. You could have chose to leave the thread and not said a word, but it actualy seems that you've stuck around and joined in with said discusion (which you originaly facepalmed). Odd realy. I explained myself. If you can't be arsed to read said explanation, then that's your prerogative. I read your 'explanation'. Didn't realise I had to agree with you like, sorry Should we continue to bicker?

Even with the lies and broken promises, we have Krul, Santon, Coloccini, Jonas, Tiote, Cabaye, Marveaux & Ben Arfa who'll make up the bulk of the squad in the near future...is that not reason enough to be optimistic? Last season we had Krul, Enrique, Coloccini, Jonas, Tiote, Barton, Nolan, Carroll & Ben Arfa making up the bulk of our squad. We could have added the rest for about 10 million. That would have given me a reason to be optimistic. I genunly think some people on here would think "oh well, atleast i'll save money on socks!" if they lost a leg, it's alright been posotive, but to hold such a one way optomistic viewpoint on literaly everything that happens cannot be healthy. Couldn't give a flying f*** how much we spent, what the "balance book" is if we create a good squad, we could have done with another striker and centre-back but that squad's still good enough to do well. It's good enough to hopefuly maintain what we achieved last season, mid-table mediocrity. Unless we have a s*** load of luck, our squad isn't good enough to do any better. The only posotive this season imo is that Ashley may be one step closer to the door. I thought looking for positives tonight made one thick as mince? I never said that at all like, but by all means continue to speak for me if it makes you feel any better.

Anyone who isn't directing vile abuse towards Mike Ashley needs to sort there craic out.

Posted by Mike Ashley's daughters i'm guessing

Pretty astounded people are still trying to put a posotive spin on things now like
-
Cannot believe we actualy have to discuss this for a second transfer window running. We're a joke like.
-
2. They get a bonus point for signing Cabaye. Diabolical tbh all things considered. From failing to spend any of the £35m we got gifted to actualy giving our best right midfielder away, it's been fucking horrific. We've had since January to discuss with clubs and find a replacement for Carroll, and we've ended up been beaten to the chase in a last minute panic bid (or whatever the fuck it was) for Brian Ruiz. Other than a spot in central midfield we're pretty much shitter/the same in every other department than last season. Fucking useless.
-
London or not, it's Fulham man. They have probably the shittest ground and fans on the league. Proper boring as fuck. The fact we couln't sell ourselves (or pay the wages) over Fulham is actualy disgusting.
-
we've had about 7 month
-
No player choosed Fulham over Newcastle like, it just doesn't happen This never happened.
-
How exactly do you go about been beaten to a player by Fulham ffs? If I didn't laugh i'd cry.
-
Is this a piss take? Have we actualy still not signed a striker?
-
I clearly have a more defined taste in men, I think he's kinda cute tbh.
