It doesn't matter how major it is, he isn't part of some Islamic cult.

So you didn't want to be on tele, big deal. Do you think Cisse wanted to be splashed all over the papers in a casino? fucking hell.

Some pillars of society in here like.

I don't think you've done anything wrong tbh mate. I'd have done the same purely to stop daft cunts ringing my phone.

Someone change Andy's personal title to "Grass" and get him listed on that North East Grasses Facebook page.

Not a chance you could sack someone for refusing to champion a sponsor that went against their religious beliefs in the real world like Nah, say like you are a flight attendant but you refuse to wear the uniform on plane because of whatever personal reasons. This is definitely sack-able. What? You wouldn't become a flight attendant if you didn't want to wear their uniform. They couldn't force you to wear new sponsorship labels that go against your beliefs on said uniform though, unless you'd signed something to say you're OK with it. EDIT: Cisse isn't refusing to wear a Newcastle strip, he's refusing to wear a Newcastle strip that bears a Wonga logo, there's a massive difference.

He's a foreigner and a muslim, not a brain trauma victim man He's probably capable of learning things himself and coming to his own conclusions.

Isn't it more the interest rates in which the company has on their loans though that he supposedly doesn't agree with? Not necessarily just because they're "bad"? EDIT: Just seen your other post

As in grey aliens and shit or that there are no alien lifeforms at all in the entire universe?

Payday loan companies are real Religion is also real, funilly enough. God probably isn't, or any form of higher power, but religion is massively real Stop looking at this as Cisse being some kind of god freak making a stand on behalf of Allah, which is clearly what's happening. If we are to believe that he has no ulterior motive then his stand is purely a personal one, likely down to the morals he has learned from following his faith. And it's hardly a bad moral objection either.

It's not an ignorance to religion, it's more how people have different cultures and beliefs. It doesn't have to be religious. He could be a vegetarian refusing to wear a KFC logo. It's (allegedly) against his beliefs as a person (likely brought on by religion) and you have to respect that. Not that the club should just bow down to his demands, not at all.
-
Why comment if you don't care man? I do believe that he's only going as extreme as he allegedly is because he isn't happy mind, not that I have any evidence of it but that's my personal opinion.
-
You just have to accept that people in general tend to be hypocritical as fuck in their beliefs, whether religious or not. If he hasn't got ulterior motives for this then hopefully someone with a sense of compassion, i.e not Mike and Fucking Joe, can try and have a genuine conversation with him about it and come to a compromise.

Sammy crossed with Hulk.

There's no way he wants to play Darren Bent in a proper #10 role man

Marveaux arguably has the best eye for a pass in the squad and unlike Cabaye he can hold onto the ball long enough to take it (if required). I like Cabaye, and I wouldn't call him a limited player, but his ability on the ball is no where near the level of Marveaux's. EDIT: Not saying he's a better passer all in all than Cabaye like.

Assists as a lone stat is useless in any case, watching him last season his vision and ability on the ball was there to see, even though he was criminally under-used.

It's the "overrated" nonsense, as if the opposing viewpoint holds him in some otherworldly bracket. Not proven maybe, injury prone almost certainly, but overrated? He's never going to be a 30+ starts a season player for us but he's tailor made for a role in reserve. Worth £5m? It depends on how we re-invest it, I reckon it would be pretty difficult to bring someone of a similar level without the promise of first team football.
