That's one reason but also the horrendous injury problems we've had all season given the lack of investment made last summer in first team players and 3rdly finishing 5th last season and being manager of season which weren't fluke. Finishing 5th wasn't a fluke but he's clearly not going to have us anywhere near there again unless he changes his outlook. We were a bit of a surprise package and were incredibly difficult to beat until the wheels came off, then we bought him a shiny new striker who tore the league apart and pushed us back up the table. It was hardly a Pardew master-class past the first dozen games or so, after that he's shown to struggle massively in getting the team to adapt to new styles of play and his preferred cautious approach is now being ripped apart by the likes of Southampton and Wigan.

Literally no chance that will happen IMO. The club let him down massively in the summer and he's had it as a legitimate excuse all season, no matter how poorly you believe he's coped with it. The more I think about it, the more I think Llambias' comments about spending £31m this January is effectively the club handing Pardew the rope to hang himself with. The club need to back him again in the transfer market this summer. If they do and things don't improve then they'll perhaps start thinking about value for money in a difference context. They both seem really unhinged so I do think anything can happen, but it does seem like that is the plan. I think he'll do well enough with decent backing too which may or may not be best for the club in the long term, making it a bit of a catch22.

I think we should have a list drawn up and be actively trying to speak with a few managers for the start of the season, if a top replacement is willing to come then give him the boot. It's morally pretty poor but it's highly likely that he got the job the same way. If we start next season with a new manager I would be far more enthusiastic tbh, not that I don't think Pardew can do a job if he's backed properly.

He's a complete fruit cake, man

Taylor man

Christ, that's mental.

He gets no luck though. Yeap, that goal Everton scored that wasn't given wasn't luck either. Didn't they score about 5 legitimate goals that day? They did after 2 goals disallowed and i remember at least one of them came from a free kick that was never a free kick in a million years. We was nowhere near as lucky as made out ( we were in terms playing as they deserved to win easily but not in terms of decisions IMO) anything to support the Pardew OUT argument though. What the fuck are you talking about, man? I havn't even said anything about Pardew OUT ffs.

We only had 3 shots on target that game too

There's been a lot of contributing factors to our poor season - but it seems the buck stops with Pardew. The fans want him reach into a bucket of shit and pull out £10. I think people would just be happy if our club wasn't 3 points from relegation tbh. He's done a poor job with what he has had at his disposal imo and his footballing philosophy is negative as fuck. If you disagree with that then fair enough, I have no idea how you could like He's not a great manager, simple as that.
-
There are teams around and ahead of us in the league who have far few resources at their disposal than Pardew has had, injuries or no injuries. That excuse can only get you so far. Still a manager at a club like Newcastle deserves far more than he's been given (until last January anyway).

Right. Feel better you got that pettiness out your system ? Good, good. It felt GREAT.

Does it really matter if he's a fascist or not? I mean it obviously does, but I don't really see what effect it will have on the club once the initial storm has weathered, by the start of next season he'll just be another manager at another Premiership/Championship club. It's not like the zombified corpse of Benito Mussolini has been given the job.

Didn't Jol reject the job in the past or did i imagine that? I think he left Ajax right when we sacked CH so it was assumed we were after him but of course that was never the plan. I think he came out and said that he wouldn't come here because Hughton was his friend too, although I may have made that up. It's irrelevant now anyway, he would come here in a flash if he was assured a decent transfer kitty.

Cannot argue with that at all.

Danny Simpson and Mike Williamson were playing week in week out in a side that finished top 5. I win.

He's just got a different opinion and it doesn't make any difference what any of us think anyway, whatever is going to happen, will happen. Well he said some fucking derogatory stuff about myself about words and fresh air which shows imo how pathetic he is. What are you on about, man?
-
? It's not. At all. But, I don't think you'll find many who'd disagree. It is what it is, and today hasn't changed that. My position is well known, but he still gets next year for me. One season of supposed massive over performance, one of massive under performance. I'd like to see what the mean is before a decision is made. Depends if you think last season was over-performance I suppose. For me, with our players, it was about par, maybe a little better than par but not a great deal. Then I think you have very unrealistic expectations. There was only Liverpool and Chelsea who unquestionably had a better squad than us and finished below us. Both massively under performing. It was still a very good achievement like.
