Ah right, that's a pretty unlucky age, to just miss KK. On the other hand, I came into football when we were f***ing amazing and thought it to be completely normal, which has its own downsides. First season I remember all the way through is 95/96 and thought it completely standard that we almost won the league "nee bother, we'll do it next year". As a Scotland fan, I'm so lucky to remember Euro 96 and France 98, it's all I have. Same with me when I was 8 in 1992. That's when I started going and we won the league then the next season we finished 3rd in the premiership then 6th the season after. Then the season after we nearly won it. Anyway I thought this was all completely normal as it was all I knew and all I had seen. I remember my dad saying to me on a few occasions that it wouldn't always be like this. I thought WTF is he on about. Then Dalglish came in and I realised exactly what he meant. Then Gullit... I remember not even being that gutted at 13th with Dalglish because I just thought it was a blip and we'll be back to normal next year. We've had our FA Cup fun, back to top 2 in the league next year By the age of 9, I'd been to Wembley 4 times. Newcastle in the charity shield, 2 FA Cup finals and Scotland in the finals of a major tournament. Went once the following year for the FA Cup Semi and I've not been since Aye, I was at all the Wembley games in the late nineties and the semi final in 2000. 4 times in 4 years really and then not fucking once since. Howwa Rafa...

Cheesey sky and their dramatics for everything. Cringe!

Spurs fans are f***ing stupid. Oh its ok lads we can sell him next season for £10M, don't worry about the repayments they will just not exist anymore. Surely one of them didn't think that?
-
I've absolutely no idea what that opening post is about. What is he on about?
-
I dunno about that, it's a level where Mike Williamson thrived and Clarke was judged on his errors at a higher level. Those errors still happened and other Villa fans confirmed it. I don't think Brummie was a big fan either. He's been excellent at this level though, no doubt about that. Aye. Credit where it's due. He's been really good for us. Previous opinions were made when he was in the PL.. it might only apply... in the PL. It's why i'm cringing a bit about the Gayle and Shelvey for England talk. It's another thing to do it in the PL totally. Who the hell is it wanting them for England though? It's not the fans.

Another classic made up mackem story. Why the fuck do they do it?
-
What was all that about because it no longer exists. After everything they threw at us in the summer they deserve it This^

Aye. It's almost as if Rafa Benitez is a better judge of a player than some of the lads on here. You'd think he knew his football or summit wouldn't ya?

Why should they care, scraping survival despite being an utter shower of sh*t year in, year out is their modus operandi. They're already looking forward to the '17th again' celebrations next May http://i2.chroniclelive.co.uk/incoming/article11329322.ece/ALTERNATES/s615/PENSHAW-SUNDERLAND-COLOURS.jpg Is it any wonder the likes of rapey to groom is such a headfuck at the minute? Their hated rivals are loving it in the 2nd tier, with a world class manager instilling a genuine feeling of embarking on a game-changing era. They're pissing about in the gutter as usual, trying desperately not to let their latest f*ck-up make the front pages rather than the back. It's going to be so sweet if we pass them in May. If - God willing - they drop, they aren't coming back up. The whole set up is rotten and when Ellis Short goes they're f*cked forever. Lighting up penshaw monument because you finished 17th.

You're a reet pudding!

Hope someone Periscopes it...

Was listening to Total Sport on the way home from the game today and this mackem was saying "we were playing the second worst team in the league, we should be doing much better than this". I was thinking does this thick twat not realise that s*nderland are the worst team in the league? He was saying it as if s*nderland were sitting in 6th or 7th. It's been mentioned before on here but the complete lack of self-awareness from these lot is staggering.

Go to about 2.50 and then listen to fat Mick Lowes describe the 3rd goal. "It's offside". People sitting at home listening thinking "ah bollocks". What a twat.

http://oatcakefanzine.proboards.com/thread/261841/sunderland-support Opening post... Although they booed their players and the manager at half time I thought they made a lot of noise 2nd half for a team as dire as they were. Also to travel in those numbers when bottom of the league also deserves a lot of credit imo

Excellent performance today. Absolutely delighted with the win. Shelvey was just brilliant, totally brilliant. 51,885 there today. Once again, class.
-
I'd love him to start. But I doubt he'll start.
-
Deliberate yellow card in the Ipswich home game next Saturday? If he doesn't get one before.
-
Class that once again from him.
-
Definitely. Doing it for a Saturday game would be far better.
-
Wish they would do it for a Saturday game rather than a Tuesday night game.

Seaman always got a good reception from our crowd when he came to St James' park with Arsenal and rightly so. I used to sit behind the goal in the leazes end and he always got a warm round of applause when he ran over to the goal before the game kicked off.
-
That's just asking to be given stick because he knows no one has heard of him. "Hi, I played for s*nderland U15's, once. Oh damn I suppose I'm going to get stick now." Fuck off you little scrote. Just ignore the cunt.

Pipe down, Wyclef. Not a clue what that means.
