  2. Been offered a lift to this so think I might go, even though I'd have to be sitting in the Leeds end

For what? Nothing you do will change his mind. As Dr Venkman said, the only factor that will effect his decision is revenue, and that won't be stopped.

I'm sure writing a letter will stop any plans that they have.
  5. It'll be great to see him in the Premiership, just a shame it's with Man City who don't deserve any of the success that they'll inevitably get.

Start a protest then, or whatever it is that you do. What do you do? We have already contacted the club. We are raising public awareness of the rumours which came from True Faith. Delighted. I don't hate life, so don't feel the need to complain about near enough everything. I do support the players on the pitch though I don't hate life. I enjoy my own and being part of others'. I also support the players on the pitch. What point are you trying to make? Buck up the courage to say something worthwhile or STFU. Your protests are a waste of time and will achieve nothing, you're also pretty detestable with your pessimism and complaining 24/7.

31 goals in 2 years is a phenominal amount for a central midfielder, agreed? It's very good, yes. However, he did not cover the work of two strikers Not even sure why I'm humouring you with a response really, this discussion is clearly going to go nowhere.
  9. Krul Simpson - Saylor - Colo - Jose Barton - Cabaye - Tiote - Jonas/Marveaux Ba - Ameobi/Best

Clueless. How many did he score in the last 6 months of the season? He didn't do the work of two strikers at all, man.

4 + an inevitable 3 or 4 more through suspension. I'm actually cautiously optimistic that having an effective partner (Cabaye) next to him should mean he picks up less silly bookings. Nolan, for all the goals he scored, was pretty anonymous in loads of games in general play which meant Tiote was in the middle of the park without too much support. We'll see. Aye, Tiote was doing the work of 2 CMs last season, given Cabaye isn't a statue and is capable of movement, Tiote's workload should decrease which hopefully will result in fewer bookings. Possibly due to the fact that Nolan was doing the work of two strikers for a large chunk of the season. He wasn't. Nolan was a very good player for us last season, despite his lack of mobility, but that is a stupid statement.

Despite not seeing much of Cabaye, from the sounds of it he's exactly the type of player that I love, so I'm very excited about seeing him alongside Tiote. Abeid will have a part to play as back up for the first team this season as well, I've only seen a limited amount of him but he's a clear improvement on Guthrie.
  15. Aye, you're right, I remember it now. My mistake

    Chris Hughton

    WBA have, I believe.
  17. No, Blackpool. In the Championship. The one he bent into bottom corner was against Wolves though. EDIT: Doubting myself now Pretty sure it was Blackpool.
  18. From the highlights Ba looked like he linked the play up really well, and Gosling looked particularly lively. Positive stuff.
