  1. I'd probably take the opposite approach and start him as number 1 as he'd be coming in off the back of an amazing season at Burnley and getting a big move so you'd expect his confidence to be sky high and we'd still have a brilliant keeper to fall back on if his confidence did drop. That's obviously reliant on Pope being happy to stay on as number 2, which he might not be as he's still one of the top keepers in the league. Either way I think Trafford's a good signing
  2. That PSG team are thoroughly enjoyable to watch, can't hate them winning it
  3. Spoiler. They didn't
  4. Hope Bournemouth are up for this. Kerkez and Semenyo could do some damage down that flank up against Nunes
  5. Munoz has got some engine on him
  6. If Rice is out and Merino/Jorginho are also unavailable what's their midfield 3 likely to be? Lewis-Skelly or Zinchenko with Partey and Odegaard?
  7. Putting the RW before the 3 CMs has me irrationally annoyed
  8. I can only see 2 comfortable wins for Villa tbh but I don't think that'll make a difference to us qualifying. 1 win and we're in, 2 wins and we've got 2nd place
  9. Beat these rancid, mysteron, nonces and 2nd is ours. 2nd and a cup would be an outrageously good season
  10. He's just mint. Comes across as a really good person and loves it here from that behind the scenes video too
  11. Brilliant win, second half wasn't great but they barely created a thing so wasn't ever too worrying. How Caicedo didn't get booked is beyond me

    Joe Willock

He's an excellent athlete, he's not a good footballer
  13. Don't think we played badly but definitely lacked quality in the final third. Good point in the end I think Willock needs to go in the summer. He's a great athlete but for the level we want to be at doesn't have close to the technical ability needed and has zero intelligence
  14. As bad as they are, Man Utd aren't losing to Spurs or Bodo, unfortunately
  15. Elanga's got to score that
  16. Munoz still sprinting to try and get a counter attack going 97mins in and 3-0 up. Effort
  17. He's such a good player

    Will Osula

Great leap and header for his goal
  19. Second best from start to finish. Regroup and get 3 points vs Ipswich
  20. No, it didn't at all. It was implicit that I watch enough football to have a comprehensive view of what's entertaining or what's not "absolute torture". You might not realise it but ultimately entertainment comes down to preference. For me, when it comes to football, quality factors in quite substantially when it comes to preference, which is why I've enjoyed watching the likes of PSG/Barca vs Peruvian 3rd tier (who can't qualify for EL btw). The initial point was that lower PL teams still have too much financial clout than other European nations so they'll continue to dominate the EL, which still stands. I also fine PSG/Barca much more entertaining than Man Utd/Spurs so +1 CL for me
  21. Waffle. I watch plenty of football and the best by a distance has been PSG in the CL this season. Barca have also been brilliant to watch
