Fuuuck, all the years of watching shite home and away and not to be there if we do finally win something is going to be hard.

Jumping the gun a bit, for people unable to get tickets for the final, where is best to be, stay in Newcastle or travel to London?
Conflicted on this. Happy to drive to London and have a refundable hotel booked but concerned we get dispersed across the city and end up in any old pub to watch it.

Depends what you want but Florida Print in the Metro Centre does Premier League numbers.I went to Florida print last week for this and they've shut down. I'll check out the one of Clayton Street when I get chance.

Sterling is a liability.
Mount is fucking shit.
The gap between the forward 4 and rice and Bellingham was too far.
Not one of the centermids can pick a pass through the lines .
The pressing was utter shit, they'd be better off sitting in shape in a low block.
Kane is our best player with the ball at his feet, but he's often too deep if saka and theoretically sterling get in behind.
Trips was shit. He misses almiron.
The passing was ponderously slow, predictable shit. There was no urgency.
Agree 100%.
if we’re playing Chelsea, I’m not worried about Mount or Sterling (this season) starting for them. They’re very average.
Foden should definitely be in the team.
On the positive side, Luke Shaw has been better than I expected in the two games so far.

I was there, 4-2 Villa away. Atmosphere was horrific. SBR looked gutted - I'll never forget that game.
Me too, made worse by some fans clapping Nobby as he went to take a corner and other fans taking exception at this. Then Nobby whipped it in and Villa scored. There was plenty of handbags going on after that!

People were absolutely clamouring for them- going round all the club outlets- back when NUFC has little outlet stands in places like Blyth Asda
I came from a very working class background, but back in those days me and my brother would have every kit, goalie tops, training kit, the lot. Don’t know how my mam and dad afforded it. If my kids wanted the same now we’d be bankrupt!

Just to compound the CrapStory incompetence I returned a home shirt via couriers. No acknowledgement after 14 days for my £65 refund. Now have to reach out to them and find out what’s going on. Couriers are saying delivered but the recipient hasn’t updated it. Probably had it returned to their old warehouse.
They did this to me last year. The tracking from the courier stopped showing and I thought it had been lost. However, when I followed up with Castore they issued a refund quickly. You shouldn't have to go through all this though.

Yeah this is the best option with a sort of Wembley way going through the park leading up to the new stadium. Leazes Terrace opened up overlooking the park, it’s a no brainer unfortunately the nimbys and swampy’s of this world will come crawling out the wood work with petitions, despite never have been in the park in their life’s.
Agree, plus they forget Leazes Park is a man made construct. It’s not like it’s some area of natural beauty. It could and should be better than what is it:
-
I think for most fans, Leazes Park would be the most desirable option if we were to move to a new site.
I did some volunteering through work at Leazes Park a few years ago and even then they said they couldn’t keep on top of everything due to a lack of staff and funding. I imagine this is much worse now.
What if NUFC offered to landscape the current SJP site to build a new stadium on Leazes Park. Part of the deal could be to include a full top class facelift of the whole park and pay for staff to fully maintain it. Would be relatively low cost for us and the public would have a far nicer green area and better facilities in the city.
-
I believe the company who bought and/or were going to develop on this land have gone bust. I'm sure the owners have an eye on the situation if extending the stadium this way is viable.

We'll be doing this all again for Forest tickets!

It is what it is. I'm very disappointed but think the system was OK. Would have preferred queuing in person but can see why they didn't want that.
-
Yes, the only comfort is there's a decent amount of tickets per game to be sold.
-
My brother is in, no tickets to select though, looks like we're done

The fact you can use different browsers and/or incognito mode shows how shit the queue system is.
Good to know for member ticket sales

Trying not to get my hopes up for tomorrow. Going to be a killer for most of us ?

Is it not mostly due to the poor acoustics on account of the lop-sidedness. Think when they've had them previously they've had to set up the stage at an angle in the Strawberry corner, which isn't ideal.
Plus the layout doesn’t lend itself to maxing out capacity with decent views. That said, I went to the San Siro for a concert and they had the stage along what would be our equivalent of the East Stand. Worked well I thought.

Fuuuck. Need to make a work call at 10am dead-on on Tuesday.. I know its a slim chance anyway but to not even have a chance is eating at me now.
Just log in if you can and watch your place in the queue go down whilst in your call. Hopefully you’ll be done by the time you get to the front!
Tuesday will be horrific. I’d rather they did a ballot!

Agree that selling STs with any kind of priority will have people complaining one way or another.
But surely it’s easy to give people their loyalty points back if they get a season ticket again or become a member. Who would complain about that? When I login online I can see my loyalty points and how many were removed.
-
I think they should do in person sales only. Those willing to wait it out will be rewarded. Would be chaos though if people start pushing in etc.
Wouldn’t mind if they give priority to people who’ve had tickets in the past, either by date or loyalty points. I had my season ticket for 20 years, through 2 relegations and only packed in out of protest. I can’t see them doing this though.

Probably just to guard against the unlikely situation that some ST holders don't take up their tickets. Easier to plan it all out under one communication in case there's a few left over.
