  1. We're not buying Gardner, and Matuidi will cost way too much for what we should spend on that position. Ties in with stupidity.
  2. Fucking hell. Wrong, just wrong.
  3. Supporters of pretty much every club from 8th and down would love to have Nolan. Just wishful thinking.
  4. A lot of money that. A couple more and we have N'Zogbia.
  5. All speculation. Throw enough s***, some of it will stick. Bollocks.

    Sunderland...

    Obviously that it's false.
  7. He seems to have contact with people inside the club. Was going to "have a call today" to ask about transfers.
  8. StandardTim Tim Nichols Kevin Nolan still West Ham's top target this summer. Would be a great signing #whufc #nufc Fuck off Sam.
  9. "Interested in any "new" players?" Mark Douglas - Plenty! Making calls on it today.. Also says we have watched Barnetta for 12 months.
  10. "Why has interest cooled?" Mark Douglas - Bit shady at the moment. Price, wages etc probably. Don't think he'll go anywhere for a while. Don't write it off 100%. Still ppl in club who want the Zog.
  11. I can't see him going there. It will be someone like Everton or Liverpool, probably second choice for Liverpool if they can't get the likes of Downing, who I think they've been linked with. I still think £12m is a ridiculous price for someone with only a year left on his contract. I think most clubs will baulk at that figure and I can see him leaving for £8m. Stop mentioning Everton! If we don't get him, they won't. And I can't see him playing second fiddle in any club.. Why would he not go to Everton? Also I didn't say he will be second choice at Liverpool, I said he might be an alternative if they fail to get Downing. Basically they are like us in the transfermarket. Won't throw away money, won't give out silly wages. I don't think they will be in for him either. Also I have no doubt that N'Zogbia would go to us if we offered same wages. Misread him being second choice, sorry for that.

  13. Very good player, but isn't Barnetta really injury prone? Don't need too much of those tbh.
  14. As long as he doesn't go to Sunderland (and maybe Liverpool).. Hopefully we haven't given up on him just yet.
  15. Depends who else we now go after will depend if this is a good or bad thing. For now it's a bad thing. One of the best wingers in the worlds best league.
  16. Nothing new really. Basically; If we don't get into Europe the next couple of years, we will keep on losing our best players.
  17. The Journal - Newcastle have also been linked with France international Blaise Matuidi, the £12million-rated defensive midfielder who plays for Saint-Étienne. He has been watched, but the priority remains strengthening options up front.
  18. The Journal - Interest in Wigan Athletic’s ex-Newcastle flier Charles N’Zogbia has cooled[...] Resigned to losing him to some big club? f***, we should be in there anyway.
  19. Story is basically the opposite of what we've been told earlier. Can't see that this article have much truth in it. Hmm, most accounts/reports I've seen (yes, just speculation) have been along these lines - that it's his agent (or should I say 2 agents?) who is the key player here, and is basically causing this to become such a boring drawn-out saga. Yeah, the agents definitely seem to be the problem. I was talking about who he favoured and which of the camps that denies to pay what the agents demands. Read basically the exact same story somewhere, just with opposite set of views. Can't remember where though. Graeme Bailey has something: Demba Ba situation will be resolved in next 48 hours, terms agreed with both #nufc & #efc but looks set for Toon, but they want it done ASAP

    Sunderland...

He would be way too expensive for his qualities. Would be funny though.
