  1. who? :: Unsure if I just don't get twitter or he's deleted comments but I can't see where he's popping at anyone? View Tweets & Replies
  2. What happens in Blackpool, stays in Blackpool. Rancid place.
  3. From the Chronicle comment section on the parliamentary debate We have some absolute gammons supporting this club.
  4. When are we next on telly in the UK? I'm taking sweepstakes on which expert pundit will be the first to say we should be thanking Ashley for making us debt free (I know we're not )and one of the wealthiest clubs in the world. My money is on Danny Murphy.
  5. Is there not a 'Shite that Adrian Durham has said' Twitter account or something. Would love for someone to point out just how much he contradicts himself. I know the whole point of his show is to wind people up and get them to ring in but still.

    Transfer rumours

He's covered his back with the "according to Spanish sources" line. We'll get some daily updates with no new news whatsoever, a Top 10 Things We Know About Martins article and then on deadline day "Although sources in Spain said a deal was close between the two clubs, I understand Newcastle were never in the race for Martins".
  7. Did Jordan say he's always said Newcastle are a big club, a big club in Newcastle? He likes to mention that one.
  8. talkSport is the most bipolar (for obvious reasons) media outlet going. You'll have Adrian Durham on this afternoon telling us Newcastle fans are disgraceful if they complain about no money being spent when Ashley is saving jobs at HMV.
  9. But lads Ashley can't compete with Man City's spending power. We need to be realistic.
  10. Class if they give him a sentence of 24 months and 1 day so he has to serve it in prison. Make an example of him in the most dick way possible.
  11. Could see our fans doing the same. How much are they in Sports Direct these days?
  12. that's harsh. what if that what your kid wants to do. i have boys aged 11 and 12 and they are obsessed with the toon, and going home and away. they know all the songs from down the years thanks to all these youtubers. they know what ashley is doing to this club and they hate his guts but they still want to go - "but it's ok dad, we'll not go today if you don't want to," they said on saturday. it's fucking heartbreaking. Your kids want to go, take them.I won't begrudge you for spending time with them. But the reasoning being it's a way on bonding is a cop out imo up there with its afternoon away from the Mrs and day out with the lads.
  13. Fine if you want to take your kid to the match, but don't fucking complain when others who have taken a harder stance criticize you for helping to fund Ashley after almost 12 years of complete trolling and mismanagement to fans. It's like the chants against Ashley on Saturday man, it's complete hypocrisy to the max. I'm not complaining. I'm trying to make you see possible reasons why people still go. If you, and others on here (you know who you are), don't appreciate the reasons and learn to accept them, then you'll never formulate an effective strategy for getting Ashley out. Because boycotts / walk ins etc are just never going to land with the vast majority of the fanbase. As I've previously said on here, get at Sports Direct. That's all he cares about. Don't think thats true. People just seem to have an incredibly high tolerance of being shat on by something they love. Doesnt mean that there isn't a limit though. Maybe... maybe things will change when Rafa goes, but if you're wanting to get as many people on board right now with forms of protest, affecting the matchday experience isn't going to be got behind, in my opinion. Sadly it's the only thing that will cause change and that's why it needs to be pushed. There's no concrete value in getting people behind some group or movement if those people arent willing to make the personal sacrifice to push him out. You think that's the only thing that'll work? Despite clear evidence that the big push on social media against Sports Direct and his brands was getting a reaction out of him? What's the point boycotting Sports Direct if you're then going to hand over £500+ to sit surrounded by Sports Direct signs in what was once called the Sports Direct arena. Sports Direct and NUFC are intertwined. We might as well be called Newcastle United a Division of Sports Direct. No wonder he sits there laughing.
  14. I get it, it's what you and your Dad did, but as if there isn't a million and one other things you can do to bond with your kid.

    Rafa Benítez

Na I can't see it. Not a big enough club Doesn't matter whether or not they're a "big club". They're a club willing to compete and have ambitions other than not getting relegated. Rafa would have a hell of a better chance turning them into a top team and winning something than he ever will with us under Ashley's control
  16. No one is saying that. The point is those that continue to go are continuing to give Ashley money. Money that isn't reinvested in the club. You kinda therefore lose any right to complain about no money being spent when you happily hand over £500+ a year knowing what he's like. Honestly the chants make no difference at all.
  17. It's almost like youv'e seen it all before! But the media said it was different this time.
  18. As if Lampard would come out of retirement
  19. Aye it'll probably go down well with some of the gammons that support the club.
  20. How on earth have you made that connection? Because Lampard's English? Nah not lampard, though he came across well brexit. The ones in the media really. Airbrushing the fact its been done a million times, and that if Allardyce had done it, it would be "cunning". Ironic considering the English media used to publish our national team lineups and tactics in major tournaments that they got from watching our training sessions. And reporting news they obtained from hacking the phones of dead people.
  21. Just thick. It was the same with Pardew. It was the same old clichés over and over until Pardew Out came along and laid out all the facts for everyone to see.

    Sunderland

If you're not losing your foreskin and you can choose not to chop it off. Why would you? Baby or not. Weird thing to be weirded out by.
