  1. Can never trust those Frenchies. Always liable to fuck you over.
  2. Last season taken into account, if you go by the Man City game, a game you claim we couldn't ever win, or even compete in. Gouffran was far better than Cisse and at least showed some fight. And like it or not, fight and effort is something we need right now, then again the manager has to show the way there doesn't he. I'm out of any of these discussions where dropping Cisse is the answer to problems. Mind blowing, that has never even crossed my mind till it's just randomly popped up now, wish to never see it again. I'm out. I’ll come back when he’s popped the ball in the onion bag on Saturday.
  3. Kick up the arse after 1 game away to City. Fucking Di Canio territory that you nutter!

Stopped reading after 'Mbiwa -CB/FB squad player who looks lost'
  5. First time i didn't actually see him kick anyone. Usually only thing he can do.
  6. MAN DOWN!!! MAN DOWN!!!! SOMEONE CALL 999 GOD DAMMIT!!!
  7. Is there any need? You think he'll play Cisse alongside Shola like?
  8. 4 points from the next 2 games would be amazing. I'd be content with 2 or 3. Think Wham will be very tough, probably just a little too good. If we can get a point we can get a bit of confidence and hope for a better performance against Fulham. Hardly amazing, it's West Ham and Fulham, probably least you should expect The least we should expect? Who the f**k do you think we are? Chelsea or something? The least we should expect... Christ. You're probably bi-polar and will be beyond despair if we lose. Just try and be rational and exptrapolate based on the evidence. 4 points would be amazing because our last 20 or so competitive games clearly suggest so. Give your head a shake man. And how will you react if 6 points are achieved? Unbelievable not only would 4 points have been amazing, he’s f***ing grabbed all 6, let the haters hate, we've done the impossible, won 2 home games against two mid table sides. Your pessimism is rank Lotus. Get the champagne ready, your 4 points is coming. If we get 6 points then feel free to come on the Pardew thread and call all the haters out. You can start with me. Something like "Tron you f***ing t***, stick that in your pipe and smoke it" I'd rather come back at the end of the season with those type of comments, i won't be one to get carried away after 2 wins against mid table sides, but 6 points would be a perfect confidence booster which is much needed right now. One game at a time though, get through West Ham first and hopefully pick the 3 points up and take it from there
  9. Aye, got lucky and was given a pals ticket because he can't make it. Awww god, what stand you in? Even more sighs and groans expected now.
  10. First game of the season comes along and Debuchy is already on the hate list.
  11. Marv should be replacing him and Anita replacing Tiote however i'm content enough with Anita coming in for jonas as he does need games to improve and fulfil the potential he has in our side.
  12. Can't wait to see Ben Arfa in the flesh with my own eyes again, fully expecting Joey O'brien to be having nightmares on Saturday night and need counselling starting Monday morning after the raping he received during his side's defeat at the weekend.

  15. 4 points from first 3 games would be a solid enough start, certainly something to build on at least.

I was basically meaning this season will bigger indication of where we are at as side. Man city away, anything would have been a bonus, we got the expected tanking, but now two home games back to back, get a win against West Ham and kick on from there, i said pre-season if we get 6 points from our first 3 games, that would be a great start and once confidence is built we could really kick on. I haven't changed my opinion after the shambles of Man City because i know they will rip a lot of teams open and we aren't the only ones who will be crucified down there. West Ham/Fulham is where our true fate lies and is a bigger indication of how our season will pan out. I don't see what is entirely wrong with that tbh. Apart from the fact i have faith in the players on the pitch on Saturday to get those 3 points for us. With a fit confident Ben Arfa on our side, anything is possible.

f***ing hell man. Saying judge us against West Ham Saturday evening, not Man City away? What's the f***ing hell man for? I would say that's a sensible thing to do? No? just me? The wording is catastrophic man. West Ham weren't near us a few years ago. People on here have tipped us to finish below West Ham? I'm saying we will finish above them? We can't compete with City, but we can compete with West Ham, it's that simple. Why judge our season on one game away to City, tearing us apart straight away, shocking man, f***ing one game in which we spent 45 minutes with 10 men against arguably the best side in the league. Christ on a bike Brett, it wasn't the defeat that is worrying/pissing people off, it was the manner of the defeat man, is that really hard to grasp? We looked dead and buried as soon as the whistle blew, that is the reason for the concern. I don't want to look through the fixture list going "ahh these are top 4, we are going to get stuffed here, nevermind, we play a team in 17th next week, hurray" If you can't understand that, then you are suffering at least 4 of the 7 major retardations. Basically it was 45 minutes, Taylor killed the second half for us and made it a far greater challenge for his team mates. I don’t want to get into a great discussion. I’ve made my point, if we get beat off the top 4 away and get mauled off each one, I really couldn’t care less as long as we win the majority of our home games starting off on Saturday against West Ham and I’m right behind them to do so. If you lot want to concentrate on last season or still look back to Monday nights match, that’s entirely your decision, I on the other can’t wait for Saturday and have already forgotten and moved on from Monday and glad that game is over and done with. Christ on a bike, just because Taylor got sent off it doesn't mean we automatically would've gotten back into the game in the second half. We can't say we were only rubbish for 45 minutes because we only had 11 for 45 minutes You've made your point, you don't use any logic or evidence to support your thinking on the way something's going to go. My evidence is Ben Arfa glided past players like they weren't even there and they were top players. He's playing against average defenders on Saturday, will be fired up for first home game of the season, Pardew will field a more offensive line up and i fancy us to take the game to West Ham and come out with 3 points. If we don't take 3 points, i'll accept all the criticism you fire at Pardew and the players. However 3 points is what I think we will bag.

And ignore the last year? And ignore the year before? Yeah lets go back through this all again. All i'm saying before we start jumping to conclusions this season is a write off after one game, just have a bit of patience till Saturday and see if we get the 3 points or not? I'm not ignoring the year before. The 2011/12 season is a far less reliable sample period upon which to judge where are now than last season though. Especially since we have the same personnel as last season - not the same personnel as 2011/12. We also showed the same unwanted traits from last season in our first game (which have absolutely zilch to do with the oppositon) in our first game. Far be it from me to take away your hope or tell children the tooth fairy doesn't exist. If West Ham cut us open the way Silva did, i'll agree with you that we have a major problem, but i'm not prepared to slag our players off after a mauling by City which they could do to a fair few sides this season and they will. If the same signs occur at West Ham and they split our defence apart on a regular occasion and we don't seem to have any sort of attacking threat then i'll come back with negative comments about our management and players, until then i'm looking forward to West Ham, i'm excited for the season ahead and i really fancy to be celebrating 3 points in town on Saturday night.
