I'm never confident away from home. Remy/Debuchy are a big loss. Think could be a scrappy this one and go either way. Fulham will be desperate for a win and the pressure is really on them to deliver, hope we can use that to our advantage.

3 out of 3 then Annie Power turned up and crushed my bank balance. Tried to recover with a couple of JP's horses only to finish second on both occasions. Today has been a sad day. Might have to turn to Wonga for some funds for tomorrow
-
Lost an absolute fortune on Annie. Feel sick. Just didn't have that extra kick at 3 mile. Travelled superbly well.
-
Most boring poster...and Ash, should be thanked for that 'dead cert'. Hope the forum loaded up. Sorry if she made you sweat!
-
Give over, his horse pulled his arms off the first mile. A better jump at the last and I think it's won. Not AP's fault, no way.
-
Happy with that. Deserves roughly that length and it's sensible.

No excuses for the fly. Just wasn't good enough but still remains an unbelievable horse. Slightly surprised Jezski got it. If you backed the new one, you're basically crying. For me, he's the winner out the race. MTOY's last jump cost him the race imo. Awful for our Conor, hope he's ok.

Ruby Tuesday off to a flyer!!!

Don't like agreeing with Joey Barton but comes up with some good points. Think he's spot on in the Charlton case. Sacking Powell and getting some Italian in isn't going to solve any of our coaching problems here if this keeps happening. Becoming more and more of a joke.

TNO has drifted now on will 7/2 whilst MTOY is 10/3. I've watched that race a few times back and it's such a difficult one to call. MTOY always seems to cruise through races but then doesn't find much off the bridle, I don't think he would have made the length up if TNO hadn't of missed the last hurdle but then again, jumping is a big factor of the race and if you don't jump well around Cheltenham, it's going to take something special to win. Yeah I thought the same as you last week in regards to Irving, think it was around 9/4, can get 3's generally now. I always take Ruby's rides on the Tuesday so it's easy enough for me today without much betting thought. I've got an e/w lucky 15 on Three Kingdoms, Grandoet, Golden Chieftein and Cockney Sparrow.

My Tent has just as much case as the new one? Arguably has the best engine in the race, had New One off the bridle first when they last met and was proving to be a cracking race race till TNW blundered the last. Biggest worry about MTOY is the fact last year it failed to get up the hill against Champagne Fever. They all have pros and cons and the safest money is the fly as he's been there and done it but certainly don't think it's just the two horse race. Our Conor even has a big shout of turning tables with the fly given his age and improvement rate. Really can't wait for this. Best race of the festival this year by a long way.

Hurricane Fly is in the same predicament as Quevega in regards to age. Difference is, The fly has some very stern competition on his hands. There's 4 or 5 you could make a real case for, best champion hurdle there has been in years and years. So many questions, not enough answers. We'll find them out tomorrow though. Quevega has won me a fair share of money. Kauto is still far and way my most profitable horse and most loved however. It is a bit of a shame connections only run Quevega basically here then the Punchestowns fest, they could have been more adventurous but a win tomorrow and it's broke all kinds of records which still would be an outstanding achievement. Some training performance by Mullins as well to get her race fit and in such good condition time and time again.

Even us lot can't stop it (her) from winning! All aboard!

If my life was dependant on a horse of my choice, this is the horse i'd pick over the entire festival. Won the race last 5 years, obviously age could catch up with it but the field really isn't that strong and it hasn't really shown any signs of major decline. Got into massive trouble last year but class pulled it through. Safer passage through this year, 'dead cert', aye

It's not the betting thread -
10/11 Hills for Quevega, lovely price that. Won last year even when having half the field to pass in the straight. Challengers aren't of much quality again this year either.
-
Lucky 15 on Ruby Tuesday as ever. Was lovely last year, same again please.

You reckon? I reckon Argentina v Germany. Germany beats Brazil 3-1 in the semi's while Messi pisses over Spain in a 3-0 win. Ergh, that negativity towards Brazil is awful. Supporting Newcastle has really fucked you up -

That's the bit that is overused for me. I've seen them play poor just as much as i have well and enjoyed. They won on Saturday but i didn't enjoy watching them. Yes they have a specific style which they try to use but it's not always pleasing on the eye. Can look very tedious and boring at times. Can get drawn in where there's no intent to do anything with the ball other than keep it, or at least it can feel that way. Swansea started to get a similar problem under Laudrup, no cutting edge to it. -

Was just because i watched them during their win on Saturday and didn't think they were up to all that much. For mackem comparison i thought they played really well in the first half against them then were dreadful the second half, in the league that is. Never watched either of their games in the cup against them but fact they went out of both league and fa cup off Sunderland, doesn’t fill them in great light either. Can't remember if they've played Southampton away yet or not in the league? Think Southampton are about where they should be, they play some nice football, they have their dodgy runs and poor results like most clubs do but the sun has shined out of their arse on this forum this season. Compared to us who don’t get a glimmer of the praise they do. Best think about Southampton for me is they bring through the youth very well, something that does set them apart to us. -

Agree with this. Southampton still get far more praise from our fans though. Watched them on Saturday against Palace and we played far better down there. Think the praise Pochettino gets on here is way overboard imo. -

Brighton was 110 percent Pardew's fault, wouldn't even blame the players for that shambles. Cardiff i thought the team was more than strong enough to beat Cardiff and some of them let themselves down badly when given a good opportunity to shine. Had no complaints with the line up, but thought Pardew's tactics were poor, timinig of subs were poor and the players themselves in general were poor.
