  1. Only because you go against the general opinion to wind people up, not because you actually rated him. Shots fired!! Ron's going to be livid with a comment like that, especially coming from Stifler
  2. Yeah yeah, there was definitely a section of them. Fans seem to go through phases of hate for different players. Santon is the current one who is coming under increased pressure and abuse when he makes a mistake, so needless.
  3. Nah, no way. With Colo, i thought you had your section who couldn't stand him and wanted him gone when we went down, majority though could still see he was a class act and needed more time. The majority wanted him out if the team full stop in the early days in the Championship. If you dared to call him a good defender on here you got heckled. Can't say it surprises me on this forum, like
  4. Were you out with Brett? I know i said Zlatan was better than Rooney, but i never went as far as the Ronaldo If the lunatic hadn't of said that second part he quite possibly might have been out with me though

When was the last time we signed someone then flogged them straight away for profit? Once signed, we've had good stints out of our players here. Don't get the talk they basically only come here for a season, play well then we sell. Seems ridiculous to me. Can't even remember this happening before to suggest that's what we do. Yes we do look to buy cheap talent in the hope of selling for a tidy profit, understand that, but they have a decent amount of time here and not just half a season/one season like people make out.
  6. I'm camping in here over the summer, just thought i'd pop in and see how things are I was expecting pictures of nice stadiums and samba gifs, instead i had greg buzzing over the chance to slaughter a lamb
  7. That's a bit full on like, Greg! http://stream1.gifsoup.com/view/835423/maradona-is-shocked-shocked-o.gif
  8. True, could be what you're saying. Think it's recognised around the country now that kids coming through are acting like they've made it soon as a contract is signed. Something does need put in place to bring them back down to earth. With the money just constantly increasing though, it's hard to seeing it being put to a stop anytime soon.
  9. Shit is going down again when the yanks see this talk. Kanji is going to go nuts! http://reactiongifs.me/hide-bush/
  10. Think that's been confirmed. Didn't know it had. He's took responsibility for his actions which obviously he has too but basically saying they are cunts at the same time He's never struck me on the pitch as one who would have a poor attitude, seemed a committed lad.
  11. Seems like Donachie was having a bit of a dig at the youth players of today. I'm guessing some of them are full of themselves and he's lost the plot with one of them. Rumour was it was Streete so wonder what his attitude is actually like.
  12. Don't know if you missed the point here but my original point was in the CM role Anita started the majority if it was a match up for him or Perch. So I picked Reading as an example where they had both been playing recently due to injuries then Cabaye came back and Pardew chose to start Anita not Perch. If Perch played it was defensive jobs like that sub was which fucked us up. I don't believe Perch was sold simply to stop him playing CM to allow Anita to play when Perch was hardly a mainstay player in that position and holding Anita back. Tiote in poor form was the one keeping Anita out which was wrong imo.
  13. Kanji didn't hold back. Shit went downtown! Be a few posters thinking twice now before popping on an Altidore joke now that's for sure
  14. We got worse that game after Perch came on. We were awful start of the second half. We still usually are but those changes were the worst I've ever seen, like. Perch/Bigi/Obertan for Marv/Cabaye/Anita. We did need a change of personnel or formation but the way he unravelled a comfortable 1-0 half time lead into a 2-1 defeat against one of the one sides in the Prem was truly remarkable. He could have easily gone after that much but they brought in the French lads to save him. The squad was bare thin around that time though tbf. I only pointed out this game as an example for Anita. He had been putting in good shows at the likes of OT as did Perch/Bigi but when a couple of players came back in, it was Anita who was chosen to play.
  15. The media are going to be buzzing over some of these individual performances in a friendly against Denmark at home. Really not looking forward to some of the comments being made back in the studio
  16. Lovely skill and desire to get his shot away there.
  17. Surprised that he's on his feet, he didn't lose his legs ffs!
  18. In one of the worst games of the season against Reading at home, we had Anita starting in the middle and Perch on the bench. I definitely remember that, I just think it's not as bad as people make out like Perch was picked every time. Just wasn't the case at all. They both played numerous positions and were primarily squad players and Anita never got enough game time but it was only his first season and being bedded in.
