How would you get the best out of them? I'll pretend you haven't spent the last 18 months (rightly, mostly) accusing Pardew of not getting the best out of each player in the squad while failing to answer the same question. For a start, I'd stop trying to contain even the poorest sides first and grab the odd goal second. I love the amount of people on here that defend Hughton, find it rather amusing. 'Not his signings' 'only decent players' 'not his fault they aren't performing'...astonishing stuff!

I'm raring, always take week off work for it but have yet to organise a trip down there. Couple of lads I know are heading down in a campervan, that just sounds unbelievably cool, suits in a camper Been a fair bit of money for the horse you've mentioned in recent weeks. Strong word has been coming out of the stable for it. I've yet to actually place any bets which is the first time ever, usually loaded up ante-post. Remy has this season been "by far our best performer" as Dave puts it with the others, so it's not much of a stretch to think he might have been in and out fairly quickly. Well now he's on loan I agree he will probably be away. Had we signed him permanently last summer though, I wouldn't be thinking he's off after WC because he's had a good year. Others we've got now have been just as effective imo this season but i'm not thinking we are cashing in already.

Was in Demba's contract that silly clause. He engineered that in there in hope for the deal he got though. We should look to sign and build which we evidently don't, but it's not as ridiculous as people make out to be. Very much exaggerated to make out like our signings are only here from 6 months to a year when that's certainly not the case.
