I live in Edinburgh. Only thing that's stopped me going so far is work, family engagements and hospitalisation. What's your point, caller? Well, my point is that my work isn't flexible on hours and often I am not able to rota for two-three weeks in advance, meaning I don't know whether I'm available normally on weekends. Financially, the trips up from London are expensive (a lot more than from Edinburgh, I used to live in Edinburgh for five years as I've mentioned before) which makes it tough. My point is that sometimes there are people who would love to have season tickets but can't manage it. I'll see you there in a year or two's time
-
Not always as simple as that, especially if you often work on weekends/live in London

I know that injuries have massively curtailed his career but I view Huddlestone as having a bullet shot from range and good at hold-up/break-up play. I really don't think he has the link-up play, consistency, strength or technical ability of Yaya and never will. I hope he manages to stay fit for long periods this season as I've always liked him but he'll never be close to the complete player Yaya is -
Thought we'd managed to finally get over that train of thought, there's not even a debate to be had on it
-
Can't even remember that to be honest. Just remember going nuts on the vending machines and how neuter the coaching staff were. The canteen was filthy. Good times, have no idea if it's still going, hope so

gbandit, 1996 pretty much. Used to love wallsend sport centre TheGuv, once competed in the event they had at the ms of the two weeks and got beaten by an eight year old. Crippling
-
Was at wallsend sports centre when the fittest girl in my year told me we'd signed him. Doesn't get better than that
-
Would love to see him hit another 1000 pages. Here's to him, Nufc and 12/13 season. Get this one right and he'll be loved forever by some toon fans

Front 6? M'Vila Parker Sigurdsson Bale Van Der Vaart Adebayor Would be strong defensively and Bale would be fine. Don't know about Sigurdsson on the right, does he normally play wings? I always think of him as in behind the strikers, a bit further back than where they play Van der Vaart. I don't see who's controlling their passing tempo and spraying it about in that team though

There is no replacement for Modric. There are less than five people who can play in his position at his level and they're at bigger clubs on bigger wages. Will be interesting to see how Tottenham cope with him going

I lived there for five years, the Links will almost definitely show it. Apart from that there's a place called sportsters. You shouldn't have too many problems really. -
I don't particularly mind it and find some of your posts funny but thought you'd get bored after a while
-
Do you not get bored of this BottleDog, I'm sure there was a time when you posted properly

Good transfer for everyone
-
Tevez is better at holding up play, creating and rattling defences. I'd say he has quite a lot better dribbling technique. Van Persie is brilliant at making space for himself and is probably the best volleyer of a ball I've seen. He is technically superb at striking the ball off both feet. You can't get much better than him as a striker of the ball

Cheers nufc54, aye, could be on the right Beren but I'd be surprised. By all accounts Anita is average at LB, raylor can't do LB and Ferguson is either not ready/injured too often so I'd say unlikely for the time being
-
How often does that happen nowadays. fair enough, normally comes out eventualy
-
Happy with this like, RB is a bigger priority but that'll come. We had confirmation of the agreed fee? Between 6m-8m pounds?
-
Whether it's true or not, what an annoying bellend

Forgot about that rule, no doubt it'll get moved into the pardew thread. He's definitely angry, lot of clenched teeth. Might be a good thing if he's let off some steam though. Can't wait for next saturday
-
not even sure what's happening
-
Aye, if we haven't seen the worst of Simpson yet. There's a good chance we will this season. He really doesn't strike me as the kind of player who likes to be challenged like that

normally I get a bit weary of the 'pathetic' posts now. But this one cracked me up, just the way you called yourself pathetic
