N-O Fantasy World Cup 2014 - sbnufc wins! Rich second! Unbelievable third!

Don't think they will include the 3rd-place playoff since it's not indicated in one of the phases. -
4 more matches. Can already feel the mood slowly shift to the new season.

Players getting more expensive means less freedom in choosing your squad though. The squads would likely be 90% similar all round. Be arrogant man, like Rich. Then any collapse would taste sweeter. -

Yup, you and Rich have drawn a good gap. Barring any major collapse, it should be between both of you for top spot. Reckon it would be decided by the correct choice of captain from now on. -
Where's that from? Edit: Ah, training pics.

Did they? Pretty sure it was mentioned by the commentators and analyst in the studio that he had a poor record. Just took it to be American as it was neither BBC nor iTV.
-
Ah darn, got confused by his heroics against Palermo. Still, not a great penalty saving record at Newcastle so it was weird that they mentioned so.
-
He's bigger than Cillessen and his main attribute is shot-stopping obviously but I was surprised that American commentators mentioned prior to the shootout that he is an expert in penalty saves when I can only recall the Palermo and Lampard ones. Dem trolling antics in the shootout though.
-
Really? Thought it was worth pointing out since no one has said it and a few days ago people were having a hissy fit because they thought he would get the number 10 shirt which would signal the end of Ben Arfa.

Belgium going direct to Lukaku and Fellaini now.
-
For that moment.
-
Lukaku and Mertens coming on.

He is though. He had a ridiculous game against Man United where he completely dominated. Since then I think he's been exclusively s****. He was good for us because of how we played him, but anyone who watched us regularly with a few brain cells could see if we were going to progress as a footballing side - just like how we got rid of Cahill (about 2 years too late) - we needed to get rid, and thus why the fee we got was so hilarious. Letting Moyes go was probably the best deal you've done in a while.

Di Maria coming off? -
After being spoilt by the group and round-of-16 matches, the QFs have been rather underwhelming so far.

Tinker fingers. Had Hummels and Mascherano, switched them out and got a few others, including Gago in. -

Has Faye left? Not a full-time staff, was here only for last pre-season. my mate's a fitness coach - worked with some of the womens teams at the London Olympics and is with WBA at the moment . has been approached by nufc in the past but says any decent coach wouldn't touch us with a bargepole. lies, broken promises and trying to do things on the cheap. he would rather commute to the midlands than work on his own doorstep. Well Dave Billows is a very good coach. Was at Everton for about 10 years until Martinez took over and changed the staff. Tony Bellew came to our training ground all the time to work with him as well. Really sound lad too. Met him a couple of times through my brother. good to hear, maybe the club is actually trying to be more professional behind the scenes at least. hold on a second - good enough for Moyes but not for Martinez? Tbf you can't really judge them on whether they are wanted by one manager and rejected by another. Most managers would have their preferred staff that they have worked with for a long time and keep when they switch clubs. There were huge changes to Man Utd's backroom staff when Moyes took over for example.

Would they rather not play Janmaat or the other guy who replaced him in the R16 match?
