  1. I'm glad he's gone but ultimately he's a figurehead turned sacrificial lamb by Ashley. If not for the spate of ST cancellations he would still be around. Like someone mentioned earlier, the club gets no credit with this decision as they did with SJP turned SDA turned SJP. We should be keeping up the pressure considering MA is clearly affected by fans cancelling their STs but I suspect JFK leaving will be enough to turn a significant number of heads buying into Ashley's manipulation again.
  2. She's been bumped off. Ashley's spies Ian W on N-O leaked her IP

    Match tickets

    Quite obvious really.

Presumably we're no longer allowed to register new players. This. You can get one of their players on a trade / swap but you can't register them until the window re-opens.

    Match tickets

Don't think he's got a season ticket. What's your point?
  7. We're all doomed the next derby day then, having lost the previous 3.

    Football pet hates

'Newcastle-related'. People are gullible enough to visit that site and believe everything they say. All the lad did was post an article (from a shitty news source), its intersting as its coming from Ashley's own company. Is it attention seeking, maybe, maybe it is...But it could be in insight into the heat being turned up on Pradew. See, not difficult to see it if you make a bit of effort. From the site that brings you the Rooney bid, and Liverpool's impending bid for Cabaye. But it's ok. Let's continue reading them and take in their agenda while advertising the SD name.

    Football pet hates

People reading and quoting SDNews as a credible source for football-related news when it's just a cheap extension of the SD publicity machine getting the SD name into the media.
  11. Intersting that that article has come from SD news...hmmm Moar publicity. MOAR!
  12. As if SDNews would speak badly of Ashley. Quoting SDNews goes to pet football hates for me like.
  13. This result could easily be the kick start to not achieving Top 10 though. or it could just be another bump along the road and we finish in the top 10 anyway. At which point ashleys won again, sold best player for £20m and stayed in top 10 and avoided the nasty europa league. Good point. I thought Shepherd was a complete fuckwit (and still do) but at least he took responsibility. There mightn't even be a Newcastle United if Freddie Shepherd was still here. We'd have done a Portsmouth or a Leeds, or maybe even worse... That's not saying I support Ashley though, just an observation. Or we could have had Shepherd for one more year, with Abu Dhabi Group taking over us and we'd have done a Man City.

  15. Not even ours to begin with.
  16. Second match in a row he had done that. I despair every time he's up to his stupid antics.
  17. Our victory there is completely worthless It's like being smug about shagging someone, then finding out half the village has already had a go.
  18. We missed possibly the only chance when he was looking to sell post-Keegangate. Once we drew huge crowds even in the Championship, sold off Carroll for 35m and TV money grew tens of millions larger, our opportunity had gone.
  19. Same. Never felt as apathetic in my years supporting the club.
