Lucky Man City goal.

Ditto. Subbed Boruc in for Mignolet too. Prob the lesser of 2 evils. Can't see Mignolet keeping a clean sheet either and there should be a fair few goals in the late match.

Balanced out by lack of gray matter.

What 'confidence'? He doesn't even know how to make use of his one best attribute and has been as hopeless as we have seen. And he won't ever be good enough for this level. Clairefontaine grad ffs.

Not in 3 attempts in the league. Beat us at SJP twice in the cups though. League 15/5/05 1-1 7/5/06 1-0 22/4/07 0-0 League Cup 10/11/04 0-2 20/12/06 0-1 -
No biggie anyway. He won't be on big wages and if he fails to make the grade, we can offload him to St Mirren or something. The only possible concern is he will go all Ranger and think he has made it with the long contract and subsequently lacking motivation to improve. Well, Ranger is the extreme case but we have seen young players getting cocky and fail to progress.
-
He may or may not make the grade at this level, LB or otherwise but there's nothing to suggest that he's a CB.
-
One decent game at CB with plenty of defensive cover against 11-man Liverpool and he's a CB. One game against Man City and he's not a LB. That's not forgetting he has been playing LB til now minus the one game at CB, that he's 5'10", 22 years old and had only one full season playing in the SPL before this. And that general consensus during the earlier games is that he exhibits a good amount of pace. Not a LB, is a CB. Amusing.

You know what their model for running football clubs is, right? Club: Red Bull Newcastle FC Nickname: Red Bulls Year Founded: 2014 Stadium: Red Bull Arena Kit Colors: Home-White/Red/Blue

Ashley should be stoned to death if he ever sells us to Red Bull.

I'm thinking Pardew-Llambias for the employee praise gag too.

The 'million times better than them' is another gem.
-
No idea where this came from since they are in different leagues. Man City will own a franchise in the MLS, Udinese's owners have clubs in Spain and England, Red Bull has 4 clubs in different countries. The only rule I know of is that you can't own 2 clubs in the same European competition. And we know that isn't happening any time in the near future again.

No he hasn't. In his last season at Marseille he was pretty much the reason they won the title. Never saw any of those games. I know you'll have watched loads so I'll bow to you on it. There was no interest from other clubs apart from us as i recall though. How much of that was down to temprament and the falling out with Deschamps, I couldn'tr say. But purely on goals and assists, he's far exceeded what he managed at previous clubs in two thirds as many games for us, under Pardew. He wasnt. Only started 17 games and didnt score til February 3 of his team-mates were in the ligue 1 team of the year that season, but he wasn't. So it doesn't sound like he was that instrumental like. Sergio Aguero didn't get into the PFA team of the year when Man City won the league while 4 of his teammates did. His 23 league goals must not have been instrumental to clinching the title like.

Ashley doesn't see it as any different than any other game. This. Regular day at the office.
-
It's not just about the result but a lack of application. In the end they wanted it more. Fking disgrace.
-
You can see them waiting to invade the pitch again.
