Guess our gameplan is still to keep things tight until the 60th or 70th min before we have a go? -

What's Spurs' lineup? -
Subotic injury confirmed, out for season.

Just realised after seeing Hull's teamsheet that Steve Bruce has resigned his son for a 2nd time, the other when he was Birmingham manager. Any other manager/son pairing has done better?

Missed out the bottle throwing. (Should be ok to post this. The only balls we are messing around here are not footballs.)

Won the Asian Champas League today, not hanging around for the CWC? Leaving after the CWC in December.
-
3-3 on aggregate. Guangzhou wins their first AFC Champs League title on away goals.
-
Seoul hits back. 3-3.
-
Elkeson scores for Guangzhou Evergrande which now lead 3-2 on aggregate (2-2 1st leg in Seoul). They have been dominant today and Marcello Lippi looks to lead a Chinese side to their first AFC CL.
-
Oldtype's a FC Seoul fan isn't he? I'll report back here if I catch a glimpse of him on screen.

Another shot from Conca goes just wide.

AFC Champs League final now on for the few interested. Shot from Conca just hit the post.

What are the expectations of the Man U fan this season? Will you be content with a 4th place finish? Cos I can't see you winning the league. 4th place or thereabouts is where you'll finish and definitely not top 2 imo.
-
If Cabaye, Debuchy and Remy keep up their current form, they should be near certs for the WC. Deschamps also seemingly rates Sissoko. It will be tough for MYM though. Varane, Sakho, Koscielny, Abidal all ahead of him.
-
Aye, stats prove that a team's defence is entirely about the defenders, particularly the CBs.
-
The two partnerships that seem to have a decent understanding are Willo-MYM and Taylor-Colo. Anything else out of these two combinations, we are regularly at risk of heart seizures.
-
All things considered, MYM should be the only permanent fixture in 2 to 3 seasons. The rest are no long-term solutions. Shame that we can't look that far ahead in bringing in better players when it takes time to build up a defensive partnership. For now the form player/ partnership should get the nod.

So the midweek game means both Cattermole and Dossena have served their suspensions? Edit: Apparently not, going by FF data.

Real Madrid stadium could be renamed the 'the Microsoft Bernabéu'

He has won 12 penalties (and countless FKs) in the PL so far. One of the worse divers in the league imo, up there with Suarez and 'I fall so I won't get hurt' Bale before he left. What makes it silly besides the lack of retrospective action by those dinosaurs at the FA is the rule that any contact, even the bare minimal, means the player can't be cautioned for diving.

So much for your anti-diving stance, David.

I seem to recall Demba Ba getting kicked in the noggin at SJP and IIRC he was not shipped to the nearest hospital. have I got that wrong? He didn't get a concussion though.
