  1. Watch them play. Nobody remembers Didier at the front post? Are all strikers built like Drogba though? It's a bonus if they do but it's clearly weird you expect it to come from every striker. Messi must be crap since he can't defend a corner too.
  2. Aye, we sign strikers to defend corners. Then we complain every one of our players is in our own half. That 40% from RvP, where did you get that from anyway?
  3. Krul. None of the above are crap either. Don't think I need to dig up those Cisse posts with his lack of aerial defending ability.
  4. Cisse crap. Colo crap. Santon crap. Who isn't crap?

    Bafetimbi Gomis

Can't see Spurs going after Gomis after splashing the cash on Soldado and already having Ade and Defoe there. Adebayor has been linked to Besiktas so they could still be one short. WC year and all that, so doubt Gomis would go there to sit on the bench anyway considering Spurs play with one striker.
  6. Someone tell him about the 2m non-bid.

    What's with the details?
  10. Naturally I hope he sells but he's in no great rush nor disincentive to.

Hard to keep track ain't it?

    Massadio Haïdara

Colo, Saylor, MYM, Williamson, Debuchy, Santon, Haidara and maybe Anita. When you get an injury to Saylor or a suspension to Colo or Debuchy, and Haidara is out on loan, we will be down to the bare bones again. This isn't something I fancy. Unless you like Jonas at FB.

    Loïc Remy

Genuinely, isn't that on the high side considering he already has an activated relegation release clause? I doubt a loan will negate that clause. If anything, it should be lower than the reported 6.8m clause.

    Loïc Remy

I suppose. But to say we wouldnt have stood a chance is crazy. He did very well during his half season here. He's good enough for a top 6 team. If there was no case hanging over him there would have been clubs jumping all over to sign him at a fee of 6.8m and probably higher wages than we would have offered. Nothing is absolute, sure but we would have likely been blown straight out of the water by other bids. Bearing in mind too there are many other far more ambitious clubs around us.

    Loïc Remy

They want to keep him in the event they get promoted straight up so it's unlikely they fancy an agreed fee. The rape case has sorta played into their hands. If it wasn't for that case, Remy would likely be gone by now. Having said that, without the possibility of a court case we would never have stood a chance with the clubs queuing up for him.

Can we have a 25% cut of his next transfer fee then? After all, besides the fee, we will be contributing to his development.

    Alan Pardew

Oh yes you clearly do. And I refer you to the more valid point Yorkie had made.

Ooo... OTL soon? Can I say Over The Line?
  21. That reminds me of Jonas playing on the right, stopping the ball, then using his left foot to cross it in. Was truly a facepalm moment.

    Joey Barton

He isn't a Martinez type of player imo so I doubt Everton will go for him. Strange on the OM front though. Thought he impressed well enough for them to get a permanent deal, especially with QPR eager to get rid.
