Anyway, let's see if he plays all three today. Would like to see how it goes, even in a friendly match. -

Was thinking that the other day. Obviously they are not the same level as the Liverpool trio but they could play in a similar midfield formation and responsibilities. Beyond that, bringing in Colback or Diame is a few steps down, no matter the formation. De Jong could be an option but his injury record doesn't make great viewing. Ayoze in a #10 role maybe? -
If we didn't mess up the Abraham (doesn't even count towards the 25-man quota) and Caballero (experienced goalie with PL experience for the next couple of years until Woodman breaks through) deals, we would have been pretty much done in our summer transfer dealing without spending another cent in transfer fees.

Last season here. Extended his contract by a year before he went on loan last year. Guess Rafa saw enough and decided Krul isn't in his plans.
-
Scored 4 goals against Real Madrid and Barca too. Big-game player. 12m derisory bid. Offer 20m and sign him up.
-
Considering he had a double hernia and was at 50%, Rafa played him despite a focus on fitness and squad rotation. Were our backups in Mbemba and Hanley that bad that Rafa would rather play a half-fit Lascelles?
-
Who has a flawless track record like?
-
Don't think Rafa will start Murphy and Merino against Spurs either, since they are young lads without Premier League experience against tough opposition. Will likely be Atsu and Ritchie on the wings and Hayden, Shelvey and Diame/Colback in midfield.
-
Don't think there's anything to suggest he would be first choice tbf.

Surprised there's no avalanche of Friends gifs by now.

The one signing from last summer I was excited about so quite a disappointment it didn't work out. We should be able to recoup our layout, maybe more, on him though.

Am I right in thinking we can only register 25 players (not including any players under 21?) Yes, but U21s don't count towards this total. But the only U21s anywhere near first team reckoning are Woodman and Armstrong (hypothetically in the latter's case). Merino and Aarons? Good shout, Merino is technically "U21" but Aarons isn't. Makes that signing look even better. Players born on or after January 1st 1996 for 2017/18 season. http://www.nufc.com/2017-18html/squad.html I counted 28, excluding the likes of Good who is nowhere near the 1st team. If this means Riviere and Saivet are left in no-man's land, so be it since they are 'invisible' men anyway.

You will find plenty of fakes with club crests and the lot actually.

Saw the thread title and then the poll...

Fabregas was 8 years or something. Nee idea how that works, but have seen most go by 5 or 5.5 years.

Fwiw I hope transfermarket is right, even though they are no longer the website they were.

Riviere's until 2020. Nah, gone next summer. https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/emmanuel-riviere/profil/spieler/61637 http://www.nufc.com/2017-18html/squad.html
