I think the presumption is the price increases after this deadline. The club, if he goes, will have the transfer money to rebuild over this summer's transfer window. If he leaves later it'll be on our terms and likely prohibitive for clubs wanting him.

Talksport running a news story that because we're not going to qualify for CL it triggers a clause in his contract that reduces his wages. It went on to say we want to renegotiate to withdraw such a clause in order to reduce any opportunity for him to leave. It also states that this clause is in other players contracts too.

They were discussing it on Talksport over weekend and said it was a shame the final wasn't the last game anymore. I've just googled it and it is, played on the 25th May. So it's going to, potentially, be your scenario.

Good for our league position but they'll gain confidence for Wednesday.

Can we not just settle on 'a minority of us' please, I feel owld enough man

Players missing at CB is of help, lets hope their wide men get niggles during a win this afternoon. -

Everton v Liverpool is chosen by Sky. Can't argue with the choice especially for any neutral. -
Lewis Miley: signs six-year contract extension (Official)

Definitely, let's have him and Willock starting pre season fully recovered. No point chancing another niggle or setback at this stage, we've kept our season alive but it's not at a level where we should be taking risks. Bruno, Anderson & Longstaff it is but, perhaps, Joelinton is very near and that's helpted with these decisions. -

These are playing West Ham on Sunday, hopefully it's a hard physical match. Anything that aids us or weakens them is most welcome. It'll be interesting to see what plan Howe has for dealing with there wide players as they're pivotal to Palace. -
I did the same quick look on rightmove, it has to be.

Aye absolutely massive news (if true), he's definitely staying for the foreseeable.

Been linked to us previously I think, Andersen? -
Think I'll start watching the Man City game first but keep an eye on Arsenal and switch if it develops into something special.
-
Only West Ham of our top 6 rivals play and that's against Palace.
-
I know we're all watching Liverpool match but West Ham getting beat is far more important to us. Great result.

Wow should have been 2

They've got there best players back, Olise and Eze, definitely a different proposition with those two. -

As others have said, just win. Our away record this season is obviously not good but with 4 to go let's end with a flourish. -
Would've took a draw beforehand but christ Bournemouth should've won convincingly.
-
It's exactly the same as Maguire's in the 1st half. Terrible stuff and so frustrating regardless of which teams are involved in these dodgy decisions.
-
Only Sheff Utd have more shots against them per game average over the season.
