  1. Not sure why people think they wouldn't come back if it fails, it's a pretty big thing and they want to be involved. Pretty sure they'd be back somewhere down the line, they won't want to let Qatar win this publicly with no come back, just not so sure it'll be us they come back for.
  2. ...awaits some kind of comment about being happy with a Saudi takeover...
  3. Just another clear indication that the government 'won't get involved (but do it!)'.

    Fuckin hell that thread.
  5. Can always rely on Bloomberg to spread Saudi's fairy tales.. no longer worked ffs The US' stance on the majority of Qatar's claims in the WTO report is also unceremoniously pro-Saudi. BeIN has been widely available legally throughout the last year in KSA, as I have said previously. Refreshing change from the relentless Qatari fueled headlines i suppose.
  6. Someone needs to ask Masters 'if a 3rd party continues to submit evidence against a potential owner/director, can the test continue indefinitely?'. Surely they're allowed to answer a 'general' question about their rules. I know the answer really, but fuck me it's ridiculous.
  7. They corrupted FIFA enough to be handed a World Cup, this is small fry compared to that. This is it like, I keep thinking "nah no way they can manipulate the PL this much" then I remember about the world cup.
  8. Don't let them get in the way of your '100% celebrating by last weekend' celebrations!
  9. seems to be enough for people with the SA bid Because people know they have money. Pretty simple to see why it 'seems to be enough'. Nobody knows who this bloke is. Not even the 'journalist' who's known about him since last year.
  10. Saudi bid fails, Ashley pockets the deposit, gets more money from some chancer who will most likely allow a few advertising deals. Guess who.....
  11. I don't even understand how this would work unless the Saudi bid is off.
  12. Well I'm astounded. You mean, the people who've written it, and then written the conclusion, know more about the subject they've written than us? Well fuck a duck.
  13. If they did indeed ignore 9 requests from the PL to help shut it down, I suppose that does make them complicit and it's also something that the PL would (understandably) find hard to move on from. Again though, that's something all parties obviously already knew beforehand. It's pointless trying to second guess anything right now
  14. How can you knock back a company unless it is legally established as being directly involved in the actual transmission of the piracy (neither has the government for that matter). The WTO report or the French court have not been able to establish this. Don't think PIF would accept the decision you suggest as I think they would be straight into court. You mention piracy and the crack down on it, however the Premier League can't even control that within the UK through IPTV. There's a difference between controlling it and not trying. The premier league try very hard to control iptv, but the fact is its just too widespread for them. The saudis have apparently just let it run, although I agree with you on that, it shouldn't affect the decision either way but the PL will definitely use this as leverage to try to get them to do more to prevent it.
  15. except its pretty explicit SA won't take any action because that would benefit Qatar Whether they take action or not won't be something the PL are bothered about anyway, BeoutQ is gone, surely all the PL would want to hear is that it won't happen again so all this shite shouldn't really matter to us.
  16. Again, I think the report means nowt in regards to the takeover, but if it did, it hardly seems 'damning'. Didn't do enough to prevent it or punish beoutQ, but now that it's finished, surely it's moot anyway.
  17. I really don't think this report is as important as being made out like
  18. This is like coming back down to earth with a bang Despite all the excitement here we are, brucey leading us out and telling us that we'll be going for the jugular. End is.
  19. Is it being released to the public tomorrow? It is not. So what is the significance of tomorrow and the WTO? Report is released to the interested parties involved with the dispute And apparently this is what the premier league have been waiting for before approving/rejecting the takeover? Again, I'm not sure I get that, do we think that if it was published months ago, the premier league would have approved it/rejected it within the first few weeks? I don't think it would have, I don't believe this report has as much sway as is being made out.
  20. Coincidence. Was already ongoing. Seems Qatar tipped off the PL it was to be released when they got their copy. Makes me wonder, all this talk of them 'waiting' for it to come out before an announcement, what if it was published 6 month ago, would they have just thrown it out/approved it within weeks? I just wonder if it's being goven more attention than it deserves.
  21. Is this cunting report something that is coming out due to the takeover/test? Or just a happy coincidence that it happens to be coming out now? I've really tried to switch off over all this bollocks until it's sorted.
