  1. Finishing the weekend off with a trip to Kingston Park. What a fortnight its been.
  2. Registered our interest. I'm taking part in everything I can and enjoying every single part of it, even booked a days holiday. Should be no negativity. Every thing Sela done has been professional and entertaining. Really looking forward to it.
  3. Hope there's phone signal on Wembley Way
  4. Tickets delivered this morning. Despite the adversity we are going to do this!
  5. It's going to be an interesting end to the season. After having next weekend off we have 7 games in 8 weeks. If we can get momentum we can achieve 3rd and who knows whether or not Birmingham or the Lionesses will struggle in the run in. With the financial backing and the manager they have, I think the lionesses may well do it but their final fixture is against Birmingham. If we beat both of them at home it could be a really interesting finish to the season. We put together a winning run and who knows. Why I'm still optimistic after St James yesterday I have no idea!!!!! Up to now I think the lasses, even though new to the league, have under achieved. The last 5 minutes against both Durham and Charlton have probably cost us promotion. To be still in it with 2 months to go is tremendous for our first season and we still haven't hit the levels I expected. If they can only click for the last 2 months, then we could all be on 41 points going into the final game with them playing each other.
  6. And bringing Zorb racing back at half time
  7. Incredibly Sky changing the Mens Man Utd match to the Sunday means it now clashes with the lasses. Third time this season.
  8. There needs to be a radical shake up in my opinion. Having 22 games a season means there are 3-4 week gaps between matches and it just doesn't work. There are 12 teams in the wsl and 11 in the championship and after that there is north and south. Although a lot of teams would need additional funding the only way to grow the women's game would be to have at least two 18 team national leagues and have it supported by either the TV companies, the FA or the premier league. Preventing fixture clashes of both the men and women, like this weekend, doesn't help either. Until there is a 36 game league and has proper TV marketing it will struggle. I love watching the lasses but 10 games on my season ticket and missing 2 for men's clashes is ridiculous over a 9 month season.
  9. Take Amber out the team and we would really struggle. Not really happy with the progress any signing has made since promotion
  10. Anyone else had an email yesterday confirming winning a £100 voucher for Stack and then receiving another one today saying sorry you haven't, we have a glitch. I suppose if they honoured the emails we wouldn't be able to sign anyone this month.
  11. Anyone heard anything on the twitter rumours that he's signed for Everton for £15M
  12. Hope Amber Keegan Stobbs hasn't decided to move on. She's asked for info on house removal / storage companies with Ed Sheeran "Take me back to London" playing. Will be a massive miss if she is.
  13. Blackburn game postponed on Saturday due to rearranged Blackburn FA Cup tie. Hopefully the new fixture won't clash with the men.
  14. Heron, for tomorrow can we just do heads or tails to take the pressure off Bruno at the coin toss. The excitement of kicking towards the Leazes in the first half will be the equivalent of a 3 goal lead. We could embrace social media if Toon Polls could get involved and let twitter decide which way Wor Flags display needs to go and it would be a massive pressure off Bruno's shoulders. The boost in winning the toss will swing it tomorrow. If we win the toss Liverpool won't know what's hit them!!!!!! There was an audible groan at the West Ham game when the teams switched ends. Its a win win. Guaranteed 3 points and social media onboard if we win and not on Bruno if we lose. Hope it's heads. He must be bricking it now on the coin toss.
