Before yesterday we had won 5 out of 6 with our 2 starting fullbacks injured, which are fundamental to our style and for the last 2 games we've been without Trippier as well. Our wingers have really suffered without Hall & Livramento. Nick Pope, who is now past it and needs to be dropped is third in the golden glove Wissa hasn't started so our style has had to change since the transfer window closed to accommodate a slower striker. Dan Burn before yesterday was arguably our player of the season Botman, coming back from a year out, has had one bad game Joe Harvey was manager when I was born and Eddie has surpassed everyone since. We are in the Carabao Cup qtr final. We are 8th in the Champions League Our League form will improve massively when Wissa, Lewis and Tino are back and we are only 6 points off CL places Everyone needs to calm down and just enjoy the ride. Our fan base are so infuriating after a defeat

We won't have a say in the name of the new stadium. Hopkinson got $800M in 2018 for the naming rights in Toronto so the name will be the biggest sponsor, whoever that is. Just watch Ashley throw £1B at it. I'm happy to pick the taps in the bogs though!

Two private jets from Madrid, 1 from Dusseldorf and one from Brighton arriving today, none of which were on the arrivals this time yesterday. Could be a big day! I really need to keep off flightradar

Any thoughts on Nick Woltemade. 6ft 6 German U21 scoring 6 goals at the Euros. Plays for Stuttgart. There's a flight from there to Dusseldorf tomorrow morning with a private jet leaving an hour later to Newcastle. Was supposed to be signing for Bayern but fell through on Friday. Not itk but saw a private jet whilst watching Thiaw flight and started following possibilities.

They look really good during warm up. May well be a step too far for us. Should be a good day regardless.

I think its quite straight forward. The whole team knew we were over the limit and the plan was to sell a purple, probably Big Joe as his contract was coming up. Eales played his joker that he couldn't do his job with PCP making every decision and due to her financial limitations PIF agreed to let Eales lead. Probably right decision on paper, wrong decision in reality.

The 6 points lost to Charlton and Durham at home cost us massively. If we'd won those like we should have it would have been up there

I remember what Openc said and it's totally true. Last year wasn't the same even though there was always 3-4 from the previous year playing each week. I do believe that if Pottsy and Elysia Boddy had been fit this season we would have really been knocking at the door. I think that's why I'm so surprised that Amber has gone as she really drove the team on the pitch and worked tirelessly for the club off it. Really strange.

Really surprised about Amber. Wonder if it was mutual or not. Hannah Greenwood made the decision not to renew according to her Instagram so I'll be surprised if Amber hasn't done the same. She was one of the few that gave 7/8 outof10 every week and was my player of the season. I agree with 54 about Katie Barker and can't understand why she wasn't given the same type of send off that Grace received especially by generally being the face of the club over the last 3 years. With the turnover of players I am over the moon that PSR has prevented us doing the same with the men's team. I found this last season more difficult than the previous two as changing 6 or 7 first teamers took away alot of the enjoyment. Makes you really appreciate the coaching that Eddie has done to improve the original guys and have them playing well beyond their previous level. I'm going to blame Paul Mitchell for this as I never liked him.

The 3 rounds were all the same format so in fact it is like 3 separate 20 question quizzes in one night. With plenty of time we should all get 15-20 correct but the 10 second time limit causes chaos. There are several question types Name the player off a photo. The questions are read out and also the photo comes on your phone. You then have to select the first letter of the player's christian name. One question I can remember was a photo of Trevor Chalabah. I knew it was Chalabah straight away but by the time I realised he was a Trevor and found the T icon on my phone the time was up Name the club off the crest. Again first letter of the club Guess the year Name a goal scorer Total number of goals in a game As I said before an entertaining night but you're up against students who are much quicker than me with far better memories. I'll definitely go again with my wife and enjoy taking part but can't see me ever having my name up in lights! Matthew Raisbeck was a quality quizmaster and he didn't belittle or embarrass anyone.

I went over last night. I enjoyed it but failed dismally. It works through an app and you only have 10 seconds to answer with points on correct answer and speed. £5 entry per team and 26 teams last night. 3 20 question rounds and £330 split between the 3 rounds. Had a great night but I've got an old head and I'm not fast enough against the other teams. Finished 14th, 18th and 16th but had a great night.

Has anyone been to Matthew Raisbeck's Football Quiz at Stack? Just wondered if it it worth a night out

Nickson and Eddie all the way. Neither Ferguson or Wenger had a D of F and I don't believe Eddie needs one either. PIF obviously have Howes back and I for one am delighted.

It was more the case Amanda got the blame for last summers sales.
