  1. Imagine hating Rafa. I just cannot fathom the whole concept of how someone ends up with that opinion.
  2. They’ve said he’s injured but it’s prob a smokescreen for dropping him
  3. Doubt Bruce will even know what his previous club was, let alone where he played.

You need to remember that this is a message board mainly populated by people who don't live in Newcastle and aren't (and have never been) matchgoing supporters as such. They are going to have a different aspect to it than you have and they will have a totally different opinion (and way of putting it over) to people you'll speak to in real life so to speak. In reality call someone a scab or whatever on a messagboard and there's no comeback. Do it in real life and you're getting a punch in the face. I know people on both sides of the fence but, out in the real world most people are respectful of each others stance and there's no hostility. I've certainly never fallen out with any friends or family over boycotting/attending and I don't know of anyone else who has either. Do what you want. You don't need to justify yourself to anyone, least of all a faceless person on the internet. I've stopped but plenty of my family members and mates still go. Live and let live. There are plenty of locals on here that have sacrificed their routines to try and create change. The wider fanbase doesn’t seem interested. Have their day out with the lads on the piss, get away from the wife...all things that could still be done without feeding Ashley £500-600 a year on top. The majority on here have never been regular match going fans so they are bound to see things differently to those who have gone to the match religiously for most of their life. That's not up for debate. I've made the decision to stop going, many of my friends and family still go. I can honestly say none of us have had a cross word to say to each other. Respect other people's decision. There's only one person at fault here. Life's too short. Had my season ticket for 29 years up to this season so had a lot to walk away from. Easy decision it turns out as the club is an empty shell. I could either turn up and accept what I am seeing or walk away and try to impact things. There are a lot of people that go to matches that are going for routine and that's fine but please don't boo or moan when it goes wrong as you asked for this shit If you've had your season ticket since 1990 you would have bought it when Gordon McKeag was chairman. What did you think of the club and its ambitions back then and what made you get a season ticket? My Dad. I was 11. That was around the time The Magpie Group were trying to get people to boycott matches so you and him must have been scabs and part of the problem, not the solution back then. Well done. He was 11.

Nice guy Lovely actually, but fuck you. No need for that. There actually was No there wasn't. Shouldn't be told to fuck off on message board because you have a different opinion. Or have whether you’re a nice guy being called into question because you have a different opinion. I can see why it made him angry.

Whilst I completely get where you are coming from I wouldn’t say it’s completely gone. I still go with the same people I’ve gone with for a few years and I still enjoy going, the football is dire at the moment but I guess one day Ashley will be gone. Still get a buzz when we win and still feel connected. Things could be a lot worse Hope you get better as well, remember your postings in the past Ashley will never leave of his own free will when he can pull a stunt like this - 3 months into a boycott - with literally thousands of fans lapping it up. Perhaps we were just beginning to make him think twice? Not now. Guess who wins again! There’s genuinely every possibility that he could be here until his death. It’s a guaranteed money machine. I can’t believe I’m in a minority of fans that understand the potential of NOT going. I know what the potential of the club is if people still go. Nothing. Nowhere. Until it’s too late and we become a footnote in the history of English football. I do see the viewpoint of not going, I just don’t agree with it myself. I don’t think he’s any more likely to go/ not go either way. Will go when someone pays over the odds, think it could happen any time regardless of what the fans are doing to protest As I said I don’t agree not going makes him more likely to sell so I’m happy to keep going as I love going to the game This is genuinely horrific. It is on second viewing - it’s not just about loving going to the game it’s literally inside me - rather than vilifying me for it maybe take some understanding I can’t mate, I’m sorry. I think you’re part of the wider problem. Complicit even.

  13. The British managers lunch club will have been massively triggered from watching Rafa show then what tactics are all about last night. Can’t wait for the backlash on TalkSport, twitter and Facebook etc trying to justify themselves. Probably a few doing it on here too.

He's pissing his paying customers off and pissing the pick and choose customers off (the one's that went to the Man U and Arsenal matches.) He's also publicly devaluing the brand. He’s been abusing the club they profess to worship for a decade and they still can't stuff their money into his pockets quickly enough man. He could burn their houses down and they’d still go. It’s very amusing to see them rattled though. Seemingly some people just like to be given it up the hoop by Ashley while pretending Bruce is doing a good job. Delusion of the highest order really.

Just have a quick scoot on twatter, dummies are being hoyed out everywhere "I've been buying my season ticket for years and never gave up, what do I get??". You get your just desserts, that's what you get need to have a nice read of that
  16. Well yes, that’s the thing. I don’t think there’s any nufc supporter that doesn’t wish he was still here, but like you said. It’s done with. We’re stuck with a downgrade now but it’s not turning out to be as bad as what people thought so life goes on.. But essentially futile. You can’t escape that.

Of course it was. It’s horrific.
  18. I hope it’s as plain as day now to those who haven’t seen it yet
  19. Can you imagine Bruce giving a tactical masterclass like Rafa is here?
  20. Absolute barefaced complicity. Charnley probably told him to bang on about it to promote it. There’s a proper manager on Monday Night Football right now. A million times the man and coach that Bruce is.
  21. No credit at all. You've said it yourself that it's similar to the 5th place season. The following season proved that we finished 5th in spite of Pardew, not because of him. Give over. Yeah Pardew was shit overall, but he deserved some credit for the season we finished 5th, as does Bruce for having a decent start to his time here. I'm sure the wheels will come off eventually (as they did with Pardew), but you can't say whenever we win, it is in spite of the manager. Yes you can when it’s true. Pardew deserves zero credit. The fella was a fraud and so is this guy. Bruce will soon be on the same scrapheap that Pardew finds himself on and rightly so. Time is up for the likes of them in footballing terms. Christ. Some right miserable cunts in here I'm as happy as a sandboy in life but in a purely football context, is it any wonder that people are miserable. There's nothing to be positive about with regards to NUFC and it hurts. I get that. But if you can't get any enjoyment at all from winning a match, I wouldn't bother following football at all. I don't support Bruce as the manager, but he has done much better than I expected thus far. And what’s the point of winning a game under this regime at this time? After 10 Years of misery, underdevelopment and enforced mediocrity? What possible enjoyment do you derive from that win?
  22. You’ll upset the fan club with naughty words like that
