We've got too many games coming up (10 before January 1st) with too many injuries already to be playing important players in a meaningless match. The "kids" have done well enough so far and they'll be fine on Thursday.

Hopefully his current success and yesterday's result makes him feel vindicated after Pardew's treatment of him.
