    Alan Pardew

I think he's saying we've taken the wrong option at times, playing short when a long ball was on and playing long when a short ball and keeping possession would have been a better choice. Worth quoting again for those that missed, sorry - ignored it. Most people ignore that because he'll ignore it. As with most things he says it'll be like he never thought about it come kick off.
  2. Pardaganda. Going to Bordeaux is the only thing I'm looking forward to in football terms atm. I know the game will be rubbish but for this reason and the fact there's more games in general, I'm for it.
  3. I'm going to this But we're going to win http://i.imgur.com/S0W6N.gif We'll get a win tonight and at Wigan and we're back, baby. Long live the Pard.
  4. Trying to fill important gaps BEFORE January 31st? Brave new world, indeed.

    Pardew Out?

Only 2 winnable games until next year imo. I worry for us more than Pardew at present.
  6. That was a month ago. It's hard to blame Ashley if Pardew is so happy with the situation

"starting to bow to our rules, timekeeping improved, attitudes improved" Either that or from Pardz.

Add in what golfmag said days before Pardew was even mentioned for the job and You keep pretending that you do know, or at least have some idea, what his contract looks like, so I don't see your point trying to be funny with that meme. And as I have just bloody said, what golfmag said (why this is to be taken as gospel, I do not know. Just because some of it may have been true doesn't mean every piece of information he got is) is completely irrelevant to his current contract. This is of course completely irrelevant to Steven Taylor and in my humble opinion, you're a plank and not someone I want to debate with, so I'll just leave it at that. Be a good boy and put me on ignore.

  11. He only signed it recently and *conspiracy theory bait* after the last transfer window. I wouldn't imagine the terms of the new contract aren't all that different to the last one with probably just a rise in basic wage and future targets reassessed. The gist of it will be set in stone.

Krul doesn't take "most" of the free kicks He takes maybe 1 or 2 a game at most, all in his own half. He's not Chilavert.
  13. We're buying low and clearly desperately trying to sell high. Our finances are nowhere near as bad as they claim so why keep playing this game? Anyway, whether you believe it or not just remember we've been told many times not to trust these people, including Pardew, who apparently heard about his job offer months after we did (thanks golfmag) http://www.nufc.com/html/2009-10html/2009-10-02kk-vs-nufc-ours.html
  14. "A Newcastle FC insider made an interesting claim to us. The story goes that while manager Alan Pardew draws a relatively low basic salary, he stands to earn much bigger amounts in bonuses based around the profit he makes for the club on player sales. Which would have made Andy Carroll's 35m transfer rather good business. And Jose Enrique's imminent transfer to Man Utd or Liverpool more likely than the "fantastic new contract"said to be on offer." Whether it's true or not it wouldn't surprise me at all if it was, especially after last summer.
  15. Pardew's wages are linked with our wage bill and our debt. It's also possible that his wages are linked to league position, qualifying for Europe, cup wins, etc. Couldn't say. We know that they are linked to the wage bill and the debt though. So, if he thinks he can get by with what we have then that's what will happen. Logical enough. It's his job and he has a set of objectives that can affect what he earns, naturally enough, they will influence his decisions. As they would yours and mine. Have i missed something? I mean I've seen people mention it before, but never thought anything of it other than speculative bollocks. How would anyone 'know' this? (aside from Pardew etc obviously) Its bollocks, good bollocks but bollocks all the same. From a "club source" just before Pardew took over...
  16. Not that it EVER happens with ANY club, but If our squad is so small we should be bringing in players in the first few days of the window, having done all the leg work before then. That would be the logical thing but we might save £250,000 by waiting till the last day http://www.whoateallthepies.tv/wp-content/uploads/2011/09/Ash1.jpg

    Pardew Out?

He's earned his chance to correct the slump. I have full faith that he will. "full faith"? I find that very hard to believe.

    Pardew Out?

That Moyes comparison is boring now. It's the only example that gets trotted out that has any relevance but if it's such a winning strategy shouldn't there be loads of similar examples? (Ferguson and Wenger both won trophies before they joined their clubs). Having the right manager for 20 years only works if he is actually the right manager and Pardew's history doesn't suggest stability.

Pretty rare that it doesn't happen before any manager is sacked tbh, at any club. That's true. Looking through some of his previous club's forums makes for grim reading though. That bald nutter who owned West Ham called him "a cancer" for example.

Losing the dressing room is one of Pardews calling cards. Happened at 3 out of 4 clubs and the only time it didn't (reportedly) happen is because he resigned.

    Pardew Out?

Do you just come on here to criticise the place? Aye, for the past seven years anarl. Luckily, there's more to this place than the football section and mouth breathers like you. It's f***ing beyond retarded to be calling for his head at this stage in the season. Half of the stupid c***s saying we're calling him Pardiola and praising him unconditionally, up until a month ago. It's a good job I think you're a knobhead. Aye, it really is. Can't imagine what would happen if you didn't. Play nice both Get to f***, man. I haven't said anything to him there that hasn't been said, in much harsher terms, a million times before. f***ing dishing out warnings, man. Stick to whipping up the emotional kids and foreigners with your over dramatic waffle, man.
