  1. Love the Greek #14. Hero of the tournament so far.
  2. Very surprising. Surely can't have been their first choice? Even then, unless they know something we don't, you'd have to assume there are better managers around who'd take a job at a solid, mid-table Premiership team.
  3. We've got younger players who need the game time ideally. Rather take the risk on them being special than Kalou being Kalou (whatever that is) for the next 4 years.

    sunderland

O'Neill dancing with McClean (?) and his rapid deterioration as he joins sunderland
  5. Norwich will probably get stronger too. The Holt money (if he even goes) plus any funds Hughton gets will give them a good chance to improve their squad. Time will tell about the promoted teams, though WBA, Swansea, Villa and possibly Wigan are all basically starting from scratch too. The bottom half will be massively interesting next year.
  6. They were 1 point off finishing 10th last season. They should be aiming for similar this season.
  7. If we signed a North Korean we'd be league champions within a month. Only in North Korea, but it's a trophy
  8. It was the logical thing to do well before it actually happened.
  9. Aye, it's blatantly obvious as well. Very cringe worthy at times.
  10. We usually get very good deals both incoming and outgoing so add a million or 2 on what you think someone would pay.
  11. Such idiocy. It is not a maths equation. All four players are more effective and consistent in their position than Ferdinand is in his own. Rio's career at the top level is rapidly ending and he should plan accordingly. England's best centreback now and into the future is Cahill, imo. Gerrard has been disgustingly bad all season. There was some stat about three quarters through the season that they'd only won 8% of the games he started, which was probably just his usual top drawer showing against us at Anfield. He was utterly bossed by f*ckin Guthrie in that game ffs Gerrard has been bad for a while not just this season. Been living off his CL final success like Liverpool as a club for a very long time. He changed the game completely when he came on tbf. The game at SJP was more like how he's been playing recently.
  12. Would be nice and awkward if Terry was to get injured now. Good on Ferdinand imo. He's been treated like shit so why not fight back?
  13. Rather misleading, especially since Jeffers scored. England: James (Robinson 45), Neville (Mills 45), Ferdinand (Brown 45), Campbell (King 45), Ashley Cole (Konchesky 45), Beckham (Hargreaves 45), Lampard (Murphy 45), Scholes (Jenas 45), Dyer (Vassell 45), Beattie (Jeffers 45), Owen (Rooney 45). http://i.imgur.com/tCp90.gif Those half-time substitutions perfectly support Sewelly's point, to be honest. Well done.

  15. Being s*** and a midfielder would answer that. The vast majority of "experts" really need to justify themselves. He's probably taking the p*ss. That's why I deleted it. Wouldn't have been surprised at all if it was serious though The second point stands though.
  16. Keep forgetting Ferdinand isn't actually injured. Maybe if Terry was injured he'd come back in? Also, based purely on our defensive record this season, Williamson and Simpson can consider themselves unlucky to not have even been considered.
  17. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/18314658 Loathsome. Blatant tapping up, Redknapp-style.
  18. Good start but no doubt it'll be extremely flawed.
  19. Probably just a dig at their rivals. He's spent more on less in the past.
  20. Can't quite find any other decent betting opportunities today to raise some money for Euros. At the end of the day, that, from a footballing point of view, is quite good. £12.50 isn't going to matter much, especially when you already have and could lose £50. Wait for your moment.
  21. £50 to win £12.50 is utterly pointless The risk and reward ratio is horrible.
  22. That's why it's not much of a threat. If it was a more senior member then it would be more effective.
  23. Taarabt is playing a dangerous game there. He's as likely to be sold as Barton is based on his performances and attitude.
