  1. People were saying this a year ago tbf and the team is currently a million miles further forward than then. We only need a few players to complete the team and it sounds like they're well on their way to being signed.

    Papiss Cissé

Looked like cramp. We'd know by now if it was anything more.
  3. http://i50.tinypic.com/faybkl.jpg The ref couldn't have been much nearer or have had a clearer view of the blatant elbow. Really makes you wonder about how they think in certain situations.
  4. Anyone got a bigger version? Wallpaper material that like! http://i45.tinypic.com/35a7hio.jpg
  5. Just what I was thinking. Convinced it was, like. No Englishman would be daft enough to wear a blazer in amongst that lot. Blazer and glasses. Stuck out like a sore thumb. http://i49.tinypic.com/24oyf07.jpg ?
  6. Ashley Cole is a fantastic player. Possibly the only one who has been around for ages and isn't considered to have "let us down" in any major tournaments.
  7. He still said what I posted so all those clichés are just that.
  8. Ahead of this game, Alan Pardew commented that: "The last three games are going to be about our season in terms of making sure we finish strongly. "I am not bothered if we lose all three, if I am honest, but the performances have to be right because we are playing three good teams and two away games in there." Poor choice of words there.

  10. Not sure why the publicity/build up for this game is getting derided. This is the biggest game we've had in years so why not promote it as such? The way most football fans endlessly fawn over "el classico" is more embarrassing than this. At least this game delivered a huge twist in a massively compelling title race. /needlessrant The football on offer in El Classico is a lot better than this though. After all the embarrassing histrionics it sometimes lives up to it's billing, yes.

  12. That's a good point tbh. It's a crap MU side by their standards and for a team with the likes of Smalling, Jones, Wellbeck etc to still be in with a chance of a league winners medal is remarkable. He spent more money than most did last summer.
  13. The "u aint even won nothing" argument really is the last resort these days. Seeing it more and more the further we climb up the league.
  14. lack of footballing talent maybe, but i wouldn't say he has no heart. he looks to me like he gives 100 percent all the time, but when you're a limited footballer that may not be enough sometimes. This might be the only time I've seen someone say Simpson gives 100%. The amount of hiding he does from the ball should, on it's own, knock that down to about 25%.
  15. No spine. No heart. No talent. Probably in the minority but I don't even want him here as backup. We can do better with very little effort.
  16. http://i.imgur.com/7POqO.jpg Things that are mint about this photo: The old school Sky remote, no live pausing for Pards The fact he's missed a delivery and the postcard thing is on his desk The card he's got up. The f*** is it for Boots on the cupboard Map of the British Isles. Bit random, presumably will be replaced by a map of Europe soon. Blatantly a phone unit behind him, still uses mobile. Wires are for pricks. + Keegan's Autobiography.
  17. Just pretend to be a celebrity?
  18. Someone else should've gone in goal to spare Jose's feelings? Yeah, OK. Here we go again... More to do with his confidence but you knew that. So how should have Dalglish dealt with it? By boring everyone to death by constantly arguing with them so the game would be called off. Voilà.
  19. He was never one to be showing too much emotion on the field I don't think. Hopefully went back to Liverpool with some food for thought though.

  21. Dalglish's management of the Carroll and Enrique situation was horrendous. If one of your players is getting ripped to shreds every time they touch the ball then you shouldn't put them in the spotlight as much as he did. That last 10 minutes is possibly the lowest point of Enrique's career and getting taken off like that is probably the lowest point of Carroll's career. It's no wonder why the whole team just look utterly demoralized. As for the game itself... Can't decide between that and Man Utd as the seasons best.
