Instantly laughed and had a massive grin on my face after hearing Ando’s reaction. How bad was Zouma for that goal, BTW. Gordon took the piss out of him getting there first and managing the lay off.

Lucky you. I’ve made a few quid off double chance against us this season. Especially in games where we’ve been favourite. Luton x 2 and Forest at home. Backed the win for them in those and all, mind. Had a cash out close to the full pay out today. Was in a right huff and totally forgot about it until near the end. That’s the idea, though. Happily lose the money if it means we win and softens the blow if we don’t manage it. Mt football betting is usually so bad. I’m hoping it somehow helps us reverse jinx.

Man U have two tricky fixtures coming up. Based on that they’ll be hard games for them, anyway. They have a favourable run in after that, mind. We Would have to find some consistency, stop chucking in 2-3 goals a game and also beat them at Old Trafford. But we could still catch them
-
Hahaha. Fuck off. Cunts
-
As I was saying.
-
Not looking forward to Brentford away. Hard to play against. Direct, set pieces galore, long throws. Yet they still have some really good technical players. All that said. Man U have been appalling. Turgid performance from them.

Tricky one. As time wasting and also some stoppages that seem to take forever for whatever reason. Did used to really annoy me. Especially when I’d sometimes count around 8-9 mins at least and you’d get 4 mins added. But like a lot of things with modern football. It seems like we go from one extreme to the other between seasons and it’s really jarring and noticeable.

How many times have you watched that Harvey Barnes winner?
-
Shows glimpses. But still not fully at it and a bit infuriating in the final third. I love his casual, languid style. Just seems to stroll about, whilst actually being incredibly fast without looking like it. But it’s annoying when it comes to making a decision in and around the box. He usually doesn’t make one in time or it’s the wrong one. Really important player for us. Hope he is back firing soon. Arguably my favourite player in the squad.

I’m standing by my modern day, online, psuedo-analyst comment about him collapsing when he dives. Does it for the second and third today. It’s like he doesn’t fully extend or move his feet to shift momentum before the dive. Just sort of falls over or doesn’t get the spring you’d expect. -

Hasn’t he won his place back ahead of Trafford? Bloody right and all. I read he was quality for them last season and Trafford looks awful whenever I’ve seen him. Looks tiny in the goal, even though he’s clearly not small. -
You know how Man U games go under Ten Hag. They play badly for ages, the other team waste loads of chances and then Man U score a late winner. Usually a worldy
-
Miles better with his feet. Which counts for a lot with modern day keepers. Worse at everything else.
-
Seeing as the lads played 110 minutes today. I’d be tempted to freshen things up a bit. Most would be enforced changes, anyway. I don’t think Howe will, though. Bit of a tangent. But I really hope he rotates more next season when we have genuine options. His career so far says otherwise, mind. Barnes, Hall and Anderson from the start. Dubravka, Krafth (Trippier?), Schar, Burn, Hall, Willock, Bruno, Anderson, Murphy, Isak, Barnes. Subs: fuck knows
-
He was out after spraining his ankle against Chelsea. I wonder if it’s the same one? Can’t imagine he’ll be back in time either way. Trippier close to returning, maybe? I see he was with the squad today. But not on the bench in the end.
-
It’s actually a treble, not a double. Hits matey again on the deck. Dying
-
No way. Wouldn’t want him for free. He’s a basket case and clearly despises us. Makes plenty of full stretch saves because he’s got short arms and everyone says how great he is. Overrated as fuck IMO.
-
Finally beat the Robert/Bernard one by scoring a double.
-
Yep. I know Schar seemed to have a hamstring niggle. But he was poor physically and in the air. Kept getting caught square and regularly lost out on headers from memory. Burn was good today and was not getting beat like that.
-
If it’s not his evil, maniacal laugh. Then I’m going to be annoyed

As shit as it is to be talking about FFP yet again. But assuming he comes back from his injury ok. Can we really afford to be paying what, £20-£30m or more in the hope we find a better keeper than Pope. Whilst not losing the sweeper element and the fact he is a man mountain between the posts (goal, not bed). There are so many positions that need a starting quality player or competition ahead of a new first choice keeper. CB, CM, ST (possibly x 2), RW x 2. How much will that lot cost? Surely we would have much more of s chance getting a number 2/competition for Pope. Who is better suited and generally better than the others. Must be some keepers on the continent, on a free or available on loan that have a better profile than those currently and wouldn’t cost a bomb. Bin off Dubravka and Karius. -
class. Fletch is annoying. But I like his commentary for big moments like this. He gets caught up in the emotion of it all. No fake shit like Tyler towards the end. No poundshop poetry like Drury. Just seems to enjoy it and sounds like genuine excitement. Probably helps that I’ve watched this clip 38 times and also he was on comms for the PSG game.
-
One of those borderline ones where he is just about the right side of him to get away with it. Plenty on here and in the media said Ballard on Isak was good defending when I thought it was a foul and a red. This was nowehere near that bad. But perhaps lucky. Considering Kudus and Paqueta were diving and moaning all game. Fuck them.
-
Moyes cost them the game. We couldn’t defend all afternoon and they have some lethal attacking players. But they basically decided to give up on coming into our half from 55-60 mins onwards. Some of that is down to us and having to go all guns blazing. But I’d be livid if I were a West Ham fan. Criminally mis-using some serious attacking weapons.
-
Any update on him? Could really do with him back for Tuesday. But I’d guess that’s doubtful if he wasn’t even fit enough for the bench today.
